As for stores, I'm sure you can find some on Etsy. And on Ebay there's even specific time periods from which to search: http://www.ebay.com/sch/Womens-Vintage-Clothing-/175762/
I hope those help ^_^;

SOO.. I'm hoping to do it in the end of the week/beginning of the new week! the moment I had the idea to change it, this zero gravity theme seems so old
so 4 pages later.. wow people talk alot on here xD
I did have tonsillitis and I did get mostly better before the convention so it all turned out amazing. ^^ didn't put on any cosplay though. couldnt be bothered because I still felt under the weather. but I still got to go as a citizen being escorted by Umbrella..? xD my boyfriend leads a whole umbrella group. it was awesome. ^^
convention ripped me off though :/ at least if they dont pay back the money they promised me. they scanned my ticket and looked at their monitor and said I didnt pay for it. I mean... no paying means no ticket to receive in an e-mail so I wouldnt have been able to print it out. I call bullshit. so I had to pay 25 euros on the spot or I wouldn't have been able to get in. I was NOT happy about it. they said that once the 25 euros I DIDN'T pay got to their bank account they would transfer that back to mine. they better.. or I'm making trouble for them.
I still had a good day though ^^

I hate when people scam you off money like that!!
I also called the tattoo parlour and made an appointment for tomorrow at 12! i'm excited.
Her daughter is a friend of mine who i haven't seen for a couple of years so i invited her to come to the studio while i get inked, so we can catch up
its going to be a small tat but powerful (for me) regardless. i will post a pic when its done!

Re: What are you thinking?
That sucks, NocturnDrops, I hope it's just a delay in the bank system. We've been in trouble because of that before >_> Great that you were able to go and are feeling better, though!
Can't wait to see your new tat, mimi ^_^ I've been planning to get a third one as well. A silhouette of a black cat (because we have a black cat and I wuv him to def :B), and paw prints for each important cat in my life. Six paw prints so far. I'd like to incorporate the moon to it somehow as well.
I talked with JP about possible changes in our diet. I'd like to try go grain-free for like six weeks, to test if there's any changes for the better (better vitality). That means leaving bread and pasta. I think we can do it, just substitute pasta with vegetables ^_^ And bread, well, we don't eat much of that anyway, and always black bread. I'll make a big bowl of chicken salad for those "tiny hungers" :3 We're also thinking of buying a steaming pot (because when you boil things, the nutrients disappear, while when steaming they stay in the food...). Also, less milk products, more fish, and more water!

Re: What are you thinking?
^if the lack of grains gets tough, at least try to switch to whole-grain and wheat types of pasta, bread, etc. I don't know how much you've already tried it though so sorry if that didn't really help XD
It's my first day back to school. I'm kind of excited but kind of not. I think my classes will be good this year but... I just want to return to being lazy and doing what I want to do and only have to worry about work. So, I may be on a little less often, but I'm going to try not to disappear!

Re: What are you thinking?
^ this year is going to be super super suuuuper hard and stressful for me but i am SO looking forward to it. im not very good when it comes to taking a day off and when i do, a day is seriously enough for me.. so now, ive been on holiday for almost 2 weeks and im already itching to get back to London and get busy haha
you always want what you cant have lol
oh, Forace! I have done research etc and I seriously want to make some changes now so I am easing out bread, pasta, rice and potatoe from my diet. im not going to beat myself up if I want a jacket potatoe every now and then but i really want to make a change.
size has always been an unimportant thing to me. as long as you feel good, i think everything is ok but atm i feel slightly uncomfortable and im going to change that!

Re: What are you thinking?
We dropped white flour based foods a few years ago, so we've been eating whole-grain and dark foods only, but I want to try what it's like to be completely without! I think it won't get tough, since I really do like all sorts of food, so a "substitute" is easy to find. Like cut thin slices out of zucchini, carrot, cabbage, and use the as you would use pasta ^_^stargirlstrike wrote:^if the lack of grains gets tough, at least try to switch to whole-grain and wheat types of pasta, bread, etc. I don't know how much you've already tried it though so sorry if that didn't really help XD
We have similar goals, then ^_^ I won't leave rice and potatoes (love them too much), because it gives me some leverage to make wok out of rice noodles, since JP was bummed for not being able to eat noodles xD I won't be THAT strict with this either, but even cutting down is good. Grains make you feel bloated, so substituting them with vegetables should make you feel great! Milk products cause mucus to gather into your throat. It would be great to leave (refined) sugar as well, but we don't use it at all, really. I use it in my coffee, and when I bake something (not that often).mimi wrote:oh, Forace! Size isn't that important to me either, especially since I dropped 5kg by exercising (it should start rising next) O.o I just want to feel more "awake" and healthy.
Most definitely! <3Natt wrote:WOW!!! I love new TOL!!! I need to back here more and often!!!

Thank you
I went through so many fonts but in the end I couldn't find a generated one that i would like, so i ended up writing it myself. It's a bit bumpy at the moment because it's still swollen but it will even itself out once its healed!

Re: What are you thinking?
I love it, too! Great idea to write it yourself, I'm sick of seeing text tats in some supposedly-fancy font that ends up being generic :D Now it's really personal. You have pretty handwriting ;_;

Haha, thank you guys
I'll write about the meaning in my blog (since I haven't updated it for a looooooong time)
ALSO! Sorry for not sending out the words for the moonchild cards for anyone yet. Since we should have the cards finished by October(ish) (for enough time to get them printed and sent off), I thought I should give it a bit more time for people to make their minds up. I also want to send this feature about ToL to Kerli (hoping she'd put it up for Moonchild Monday). and if she does, we will get a lot more people here (hopefully).
Oh, Forace! Do you think you could send me your answers by Sunday? That way I could put everything together and send it to Kerli for Moonchild Monday?

Such an inspirational tattoo Mimi
I'm so looking forward to the words
I need to cleanse my room again... because of the recent stress with my in-laws the negative energy built itself up to the point I can catch glimpses of it in the corner of my eyes...
good thing I saved a smudge stick just for this kind of thing

Re: What are you thinking?
Can't remember when I was last here, but since then, I've graduated from university, written almost 16,000 words of my first novel, started keeping a poetic journal on the side - which has been really good for honing my skill while not worrying about it being my best writing - and I've been accepted onto a Creative Writing Masters course. I haven't stopped thinking about you guys in the meantime, and there's no doubt in my mind that you've inspired what my Fantasy novel's becoming.
The novel feels like it's going quite slowly at the moment, but it's taking shape well. I have a feeling that at least a working title will reveal itself to me soon. I'd like to have a name for my project. I'm trying not to stress about it too much, because the author who first inspired the desire to be a writer in me took three years to write his first novel. It's pretty amazing to see and feel my inspirations and influences, past and present, coming together in one body of work.
Mimi, your new tattoo is lovely, and you've done a great job on the forum's new look.
Wishing everyone the best in ToL land

Re: What are you thinking?
Panicking again today, missing J like no tomorrow, getting upset for being stupid for missing him, getting that "balloon head" I've described in my blog... I'm really confused at times :/ I met a friend, though. We went next to the sea and had some long drinks, and a long talk. I told her about this, because I had to talk with SOMEONE. I never tell my business to others unless I trust them. Says something about you guys ;)
She couldn't really help, just that I should calm down and see how things go... Which is what I've been doing. And I'll continue to do that. There's really nothing I can do... I just... really want to talk with J. About what, I don't even know! I'm confused.
And tired. I'll sleep for a while before JP gets back. I miss him, too, to add to the confusion. I wish these panic attacks would stop, since I KNOW there's nothing to worry about, and that everything's fine. BUT IS IT REALLY?! huuuuuuh, I over-think as well.
I'll just... sleep. I'll be fine tomorrow, like always.

I have a new mortal foe and it;s my boyfriend's two-faced, tyrant, smoke-faced mom!!!!
he wants to come over next week but once again he can't guarantee it because that devil woman doesn't let him have his own life!!!
A WHOLE MONTH it will be if he doesnt make it next week and I cant go to him because she just KICKS ME OUT whenever she feels like.
AAAARGH
I just don't know anymore... why if it's not an asshole boyfriend it's the sweetest black sheep with this terrible family who restrains him from having his own life.
