Sooo... my hair was pretty orange after washing off the henna xD It has oxidized to a coppery gold now. I'm eager to see if it'll change more and how it will stay; I've read henna won't fade D: I have to try something different the next time I dye, maybe I could get it more red ^_^

Wow.

We had a ice storm over the weekend. Lot of people were out hydro. Yesterday all day. I had no heat or wasn't able to do much of anything. Power came on in the early morning. But some people are still without power.

@Krissy, that really sucks. I hope that everything's okay. I can't imagine being without heat in the middle of December.

Everything is fine. Just still many people in Toronto are still with no power. some many not get it back till Christmas. Hope they get it back soon. Ya it really does suck with no heat. It was so boring yesterday. Nothing to do at all. Expect read. It gets me thinking how much we depend on hydro. Well the amish live with out. Really don't think I could daily.

When the hydro goes out in summer time. It's not too bad.

@Krissy, yeah, I bet. I don't think I could live without it, I hate being cold.... Luckily where I am we don't usually have stuff like that happen. We've had the power go out, but never for more than a day.

I've usually seen hookers in white and black boots... :) (Not IRL, we don't have hookers in Finland. At least, not in street corners)


We went to see The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug today in a movie theater ^_^ I liked it, especially the action. Some animation bothered me xD Smaug himself was awesome. Greedy and had the typical villain-yadda-yadda, but awesome. He was modeled and animated well.

I'm so tired, we couldn't really sleep last night. Maybe for five hours, on and off. I always sleep well, but now we both were insomniac :D

Where I live we don't really have hookers hanging around street corners either. I think they just stick to their designated hotels, but I wouldn't really know.

I feel for you. I got something that seemed like delayed jet-lag after my trip to Vienna and Prague, so, two weeks after I got home, I was wide awake during the night. Yay for melatonin pills!

It's starting to snow here. I guess we'll have a white Christmas after all. I was starting to think we'd just have an icy one

I'm such a terrible kiwi - I haven't even watched the first Hobbit movie. I'm having a phase of bearded men lately and one of my friends insists that I should at least watch it to drool over the men. Although, from what I've seen on Tumblr, I think I'm more likely to drool over Tauriel

@Mimi, holidays are actually pretty bad with family, tbh. My intentions were to stay away since I got into a really dark place last christmas/summer. My mum flew down on Sunday and is staying with me until the 12th while my dad, brother and grandma are spending christmas together. As horrible as this sounds, I'd actually rather be with them since my mum is kind of the person who pushes me to my breaking point. I've already stocked up on beer, KGBs, scrumpy, wine and vodka to make it through (using money dad gave me for "christmas dinner"). I don't like christmas food so I'm cooking us a vegetarian curry for tomorrow, since the ingredients were cheap and I could spend the rest on alcohol. Power and rent is another problem for another day. I expect to be conked out by noon.

About time the hydro came back on. Went off last night and came back on earaly morning. Then went off again at noon time. Hope it stays on this time.

I may have caught a cold; my nose is runny and I've sneezed several times today. And my throat hurts a bit. JP's probably sick as well. Graah, we're supposed to go and get groceries today... ;_;

Interesting Christmas, there's almost no snow, apart from a few piles here and there. I've never seen a weather like this in December in my life.

Wow. My online friend in Sweden said she had no snow for Christmas. I thought that was strange. She said she usually gets it early. In Canada were I live we have snow. LAst few years we get it late. Well depending on what part of you live in.

Yeah, Finland and Sweden are right next to each other, so it's no surprise they don't have snow either. The temperature is 0'C or above, like +6'C even! Rain in December, wtf...
27 years ago the first snow came in September! And people still don't believe in global warming >_>

We have whatever's left of the snow that hasn't melted. It's -2 right now but yesterday afternoon it was +4. Weird weather for western Canada.

I'm so ready for summer and hot weather. Sick of winter already.

I'm not, there hasn't even been a winter here yet xD But it'll come, and it'll last for many months like always.


Cooking dinner was a pain in the backside; the left side of my face is so itchy and the nose runs and I can't see properly because of the watery eye, so I had to pause to blow my nose every 30 seconds and to wash my eye with cold water xD My first day with a cold and I'm ready to die xD I hope it'll go away before New Year, I want to go outside. Probably.

No snow here either for Christmas, though it was way freezing a few weeks ago. I've caught a cold as well >_<

Thank you so much. Weirdly enough, I had actually come to like my weight this year, mostly because I went to the doctor earlier in the year when I had a couple of blackouts (which turned out to be stress-related) so they ran a whole lot of tests on me and I'm completely healthy, which kind of made me think "well my body can't be THAT disgusting if it's healthy?" and yet hearing that from my mum was such a slap across the face.

Thank you for reminding me the benefits of taking these comments with a grain of salt! Even if she WAS constructive about it, I'm healthy and that should be enough for a mother in my opinion. I'll try to be more active (ugh broken record) so yes LET'S TALK MORE :)that's directed at everyone really.

Although usually I'm the one who suffers while everyone around me seems happy, lately it's felt like the opposite. Amidst all the sadness that happens around me, I've managed to fall in love with someone who feels the same way towards me <3
