Well, it was because my fiancé had passed out and J had tried to call him, and since he didn't answer, he called me and asked where my fiancé is... We talked a little... He said it was nice to hear my voice again. "Likewise" I said... I could tell he was nervous from the way he was speaking, he said "good night" and "bye" like three times, teehee :3

I was out with my brother and had just bought a birthdaygift for my stepmom from a Douglas store, wich wasnt very cheap. but she was a little down lately so my brother and I thought she deserved something nice.
ofcourse one of those clipboard girls came up to us and started telling her story.
we said no because we cant affort it.
and she said "well you can buy from a Douglas store so why not donate to us?"
I almost snapped but my brother stopped me -.-

and I tend to not donate to organizations that ask for people to donate in such an impersonal way and maybe 2% goes to the actual cause, because those clipboard people get paid to bother/guilt others into donating.
and since they get paid for this, it's hardly a charitable job.

i don't think i've ever run into any rude charity people over here. the streets are just lined with people advertising shops that nobody cares about, and if you walk past one of them they just shove leaflets in your face and carry on talking at you even as you quickly walk away. it's so annoying!

Todays been another not so cold day

I really want a pet rabbit, but the problem is that my sister doesn't want one because she doesn't to replace our rabbit that passed away earlier this year and I'm not able to take care of a rabbit by myself. Perhaps when I get my own place I'll get a rabbit..

I've just found out that my ex has had a new girlfriend since Halloween. On the one hand I'm glad for him, on the other I feel a sense of superiority because in my eyes he has downgraded, and I feel a bit horrible because of that. Then there's the fact that she's in the Theatre Society at my uni, so when she comes back after Christmas I'll have to spend two evenings a week with someone who'll definitely think I'm an awful bitch. Also, I found that after I uploaded a picture of my Halloween look on Facebook, he made an indirect post about me on Tumblr saying he's glad he doesn't have to put up with "who I am now" (when I'm actually more myself now than when I was with him, thanks to my soulmate) and that I look "ridiculous". Safe to say, I'm feeling very strange right now...

if he sais mean things about you he has definately downgraded himself. people cant always handle someone becoming more in touch with themselves and thus changing visibally or changing in behavior.
you've moved on and you're better for it. he has a girlfriend and he should be happy. if he can't settle with that then it says alot about him and not you.

The feeling he's downgraded in your eyes might be because you're in love with someone else; the one you love always seems perfect and amazing. I'm sad to say my fiancé was downgraded in my eyes when I fell for J... But I'm trying to be sensible about this, and he's getting back on his pedestal :D

I still think he was weak to insult me now he has a new girlfriend to use as a crutch for his opinion of me, but that's his problem and I won't let it bother me. I understand that he'll still be angry at me, but writing that kind of stuff where I could see it was very immature of him. I was thinking about all the mean - and true - things I could say to him when I went to bed last night, but I'm definitely not going to stoop so low as to act on those thoughts.

'Serious terrorist attack' foiled in Poland

A government spokesman has confirmed that a man has been arrested for allegedly planning a “very serious” terrorist attack on Poland.

“We know that possible targets were supposed to be constitutional organs of the state: the president, parliament, the Polish government,” Pawel Gras told commercial radio station TOK FM on Tuesday morning.

According to the PAP news agency, the suspect was detained in the southern city of Krakow in the lead-up to the Independence Day marches in Warsaw on 11 November.

The middle-aged man had been under surveillance for a number of weeks.

He was allegedly engaged in the construction of explosive devices, and had made a number of reconnaissance trips to Warsaw.

While in the capital, he is understood to have studied the area around Poland's parliament, as well as the route marked out for President Bronislaw Komorowski's Independence Day march.

Prosecutors issued an arrest warrant on 5 November, and security officers from the Internal Security Agency (ABW) arrested the man at an apartment in Krakow.

Explosives were discovered, and the man has allegedly admitted that he had planned a terrorist attack.

Authorities will give a press conference at 10.00 CET this morning with more details.

"This information is certainly very worrying,” Rafał Grupiński, chairman of the ruling Civic Platform's parliamentary party told Polish Radio, showing that there were "tensions" in Poland. (nh/pg)

I'm sitting in the STL airport having a mental break as my flight this morning was cancelled, which would be so bad if it wasn't a rescheduled flight from last nite that was delayed to the point that I missed my connection. So by the time i get to my end point it'll have been at least 36 since I left (or I guess you could say I'm 24 hours late). It's really upsetting because I'm trying to get to my sister who had her baby 3 days, I just really want to meet my niece, this my be my only chance until march.

Oops...just found out that when my ex said those things about someone looking ridiculous, he wasn't talking about me :/ This is why you shouldn't jump to conclusions. I unfriended him on Facebook over it too, not entirely because of it, but it was the straw that broke the camel's back. I'm glad I didn't say anything to him about it. Still, we haven't talked for around 7 months now, and I don't have any interest in seeing him again, especially because he really played himself up as the martyr when we broke up. He put a load of poetry on DeviantArt starting from when I first met my boyfriend, eventually saying that everything I said to show him my love when I was with him was a lie, and that I couldn't possibly have had the courage to meet my boyfriend without his help, when I could. "I gave them my blessing, now she's left me for him, oh, woe is me." Yeah, like I wouldn't have met my destiny, my twin flame, without his permission -_- And the reason I know about his 'secret' poetry account on DA is because he 'accidentally' left the page up on his laptop when he knew I was coming over. I know he isn't that stupid. He even wrote a poem about how I almost found him out going "She saw it, but I think I got away with it, I hope she won't find it and read what I've written." He had his ego fooled that he didn't want me to read his poetry and hate myself for how I damaged him. Sure enough, I did, and I know it was what he hoped would happen beneath the "I'm such a flawlessly good and kind person" facade he created to feel better about himself.

That and he even convinced himself that he believed we were fated by the Universe to be together like I did, when he didn't. He didn't understand that, and it's not like I resented that about him, because it wasn't his fault, it just wasn't him. And he played with my head for ages by making me think that he was going to propose, but kept denying it which really upset me, then said when I left him that he was going to propose after all. I can't help but think he wasn't as certain about it as he made out, but used it against me for sympathy. Then there's still the fact that he'll make out that I was nothing but cruel and sly and a liar to him when he talks to his new girlfriend about me, because that's just what happens. He talked to me about his ex before in the same way, how I was better in bed than her, how he was glad that she left him and that he could go on to meet me, and obviously I went along with it and slagged her off with him. I couldn't speak to him now knowing that they'd both been talking like that about me, maybe even hours before. I have been better off without him in my life since we last spoke, and I put an end to the idea of being friends with him long ago. I just hope he's come to his senses about that too.

And just so you know guys, I wholly appreciate how accepting you all are, even when any of us need to get a lot of stuff off our chests. You've been there for me throughout my stressing over how I should talk to the man who became my love, falling for him and breaking up with my ex. You have given me so much courage and faith in myself and I thank you with all my heart for that.

I'm still best friends with my ex. I guess it depends on how the relationship ended.
we broke up because the relationship wasn't working out with current circomstances so we broke up. it was awkward at first for a while but he's remained one of the most importand people in my life.

my LAST ex however, I wanted to remain friends with him even though he pushed me down to the level below the ground. but now I don't want to anymore because now that I see what kind of person he really is I don't want him in my life anymore. he ruined relationships AND sex for me. and all he keeps doing is feel sorry for himself.
it was a "mutual breakup" but I was the one suggesting it.

on a happier note and purposely doubleposting, I did some shopping for my middleschool reunion and I thought it was going to be a disaster because instead of my best friend or my mom comign with me my stepdad went with me... and hes not the most fashionable one.
but it was great.

have a new kitty shirt to put in my crazy cat lady clothes collection.
new boots, with a strap and sparklies on them, I wanted studs but these were on sale and the stud ones weren't wich would have beenm TOO expensive.
a simple too long tanktop, love it.
a wool skirt with buttons on them. it's so purdy.
all theres left is some proper pantyhose or leggings. and maybe some fuzzy legwarmers.

My fiancé (I'm gonna call him JP from now on, "fiancé" is too fancy to say all the time) is friends with both his exes, though he doesn't talk with them much. They're all friends on FB. I'm friends with his first gf, she's nice and funny and she respects me. The second one is too intrusive to my liking, so we haven't really ever talked... I don't even count her as his gf, because he didn't even want to be with her. She has a child with someone else now. I know she's nice, too, but a difficult person. Well, they both are, that's why they broke up with JP xD And since JP is my first bf evarr, I don't have exes. Unless you count J, even though we were never "together".
So yeah, it all comes down to what kind of people they are, whether or not you can be friends with them. What Liz's ex is doing is just a way for him to survive and get over it, so don't take it too personally <3 My dad did the same thing to my mom when they divorced, tried to make her seem like the bad person. In reality it was completely the opposite...

being angry about stuff they did or do is easier than being sad and mourning about the relationship ending. its how I got over Dimitri within 2 or 3 months.
my brother has my latest ex still in his fb and I sometimes still look over my brother's shoulder for any updates about Dim. how annoying he still is, he has been a part of my life for over a year.

It was horrible and stupid to be between parents, with both of them blaming each other for doing this 'n that and so on, trying to stay unbiased and trying to help both of them. I'm more on my mom's side with this, though ^^ She's the tiniest.
Being angry about breakup is easier. If you feel sad, then it's like you didn't really want to break up. Like, I should be angry at J for making me fall for him so much, because I'm not the first one he's done this to. He has a habit of falling for his friends' girlfriends. But on the other hand I miss him terribly, because I KNOW he really likes me, and I really like him. So I go from crying for him to hating him to pining for him again to not giving a shit, and so on xD But it's getting easier with time, and JP is being wonderful to me <3
