haha ^__^ I guess I'm not really the only Buddhist here, regardless of being blessed or not.
My parents raised me Buddhist and I still am I might give Wiccan a go since I find it interesting.
Re: What's your religion??
^My family doesn't understand Buddhism. My grandmother finds it silly. She says things just to annoy me.
Re: What's your religion??
But Buddhism has a very basic outline of what it is. It's both religion and philosophy. How can anyone not understand

Re: What's your religion??
I identified myself as German catholic. We're the laid back, let's have a beer then go to church then have another beer kind of people
Re: What's your religion??
I'm a Christian, but people are very quick to just when I say that.
I'm very spiritual. I'm a Christian in a sense that I go to my Episcopal Church almost every Sunday and I wear a cross around my neck, but I'm not conservative about it. I believe that all religions should be accepted, and that it doesn't matter what someone believes or that it's different than mine. There are parts of Buddhism, Wicca, and Islam that I think are great.
So basically.... I'm not very strict about being a Christian, but I definitely am Christian.
I don't know. I hate division and borders and I think different religions and denominations are just another division. It doesn't really matter to me.

Re: What's your religion??
Atheist. If God was there, and fair, innocent kids in Africa wouldn't die starving and suffering. In my opinion, some people created god to keep people and masses under control at very old times, I must say it's a very good and clever idea, cause there were no laws then, but now... That god idea took over everyone and got out of control so here are religions. What if a person is Christian or Jew or Muslim or Agnostic or Atheist or whatever. Everyone can believe what they want, I don't think that we need a god. We just need to be human. I've got so many things to say about this topic, but I'm keeping all to myself right now.

I was raised to be Catholic, but I'm Atheist. I was never religious, but I used to be very spiritual.
Re: What's your religion??
What Winter said pretty much sums up how I think.
So, no religion. I'm an atheist, always have been. I never found the god-thing believable :D I also don't believe in spirits, fairies, ghosts or anything else like them. What we are/have, is right here and now. When we die, it's like dreamless sleeping, forever. I live by my own morals, I don't need a book to tell me what's right and wrong. Some people do, but I think that's because they... Um, this'll sound offensive to some? They're not that smart or there's something wrong with their psyche/mind. But that's the sick people. The one's who take things too seriously, the extremists. It's OK if someone believes in god because it makes them happy and gets hope or consolation from it. Just don't come pushing the Bible to me :D It's a nice story, but it's just that. I just find it rather silly to base your life on a book. I'm pretty sure there are people who live by the Lord of the Rings? And then there's the church for the Force (Star Wars). Sound funny? Thought so.
So, just believe in whatever makes you happy, no reason to start a war over it. I happen to believe in science.

Re: What's your religion??
Back when me and me friend were questioning our faith we used to say "God was created to explain what science couldn't"
I don't think it matters whether or not some believes in religion/God or not as long as you don't judge others and think your beliefs are better than them. That's where the problems start people thinking that they believe or don't believe is better and therefore they should try to force it on everyone else

Re: What's your religion??
Hmm I always thought I was Christian but then I think about it and realise that I don't actually think that Jesus was God's son in a way different to everyone else. Which is kind of an important part of Christianity xD dad's still saying that I sound pagan to him. I still think that all religions are reaching out to a common goal so, spirituality, they aren't actually that different at all, so I'm not too concerned about deciding on a specific religion to follow right now. I just believe in little things and don't bother to compare them to "official" religions.

Re: What's your religion??
I am a humanist. I don't know if there is a god, and I don't care. I think people can do more than prayer can. (I don't mean to offend anyone)
I live by this quote:
"Live a good life. If there are gods and they are just, then they will not care how devout you have been, but will welcome you based on the virtues you have lived by. If there are gods, but unjust, then you should not want to worship them."

Re: What's your religion??
I don't really have a religion, though I've dabbled in Wiccan (and gotten in trouble for it...) and it felt very right.
I do not believe in heaven or hell. I believe that when we die we are reincarnated into a human or other intelligent animal if we were a good person, or an unintelligent creature (I use the word unintelligent very loosely, since I believe that all creatures are intelligent in their own special way) such as an ant or a water flea if we were bad people. However, I also believe that who you were in a past life does not determine if you are a good or bad person in your current life. of course, there's a lot more details to this that I don't feel like taking a year and a day to explain
So my "religion" basically revolves around that. Being the best person you can be and being kind to every living thing. Because every life is important.
So that's just a little bit about what I think...

Re: What's your religion??
To make it simple I consider myself an eclectic pagan and am currently learning about witchcraft/wicca. I guess you could say the Earth/nature is my god/goddess. I believe that we are all part of a universal energy that is also made up of both male and female energies. I believe in karma, reincarnation and past lives. I believe that we create our reality with our thoughts. For example if you think positively good things will come to you and if you think negatively then you will attract bad things to you. As you can see I believe a lot of things but being eclectic means I am open to lots of different beliefs and am always changing and evolving And of course I believe LOVE rules above all

Re: What's your religion??
I am a Christian. My denomination of it is Lutheran. If you've all heard of Martin Luther in your history books, he was a Catholic Monk that went against the Catholic church... not exactly. He just had a few ideas that would make the church better. He fled to Worms (pronounced Vorms) with an ex-nun and they married.
I have been baptized, twice actually. The second time doesn't really count. The Christian law I am under says to "baptize then teach" and that is in order to have your name written in the book of God. You can choose whether or not to accept God's gift of love.
To take Communion (see the story of the Last Supper) you must be Catechized/Confirmed by your pastor. To do so, you must go through two "school years" of Catechism classes with your pastor as your teacher. Then you are questioned by elders (either in front of the whole church or in private) on what you've learned. It is written that if you take Communion without fully understanding it, it is a sin. My sister and I were Confirmed on the same day (Sunday after Easter).
Sorry to in depth but I wasn't sure what to post and every time I make a short post it makes me feel like I could have said more... so... yeah....
Hope I made no offenses!!!

Re: What's your religion??
I'm a pantheist, but I was raised as a catholic. For those of you who don't know what pantheism is, it's basically the belief the God and nature, are the same thing. I, myself, don't believe in the afterlife, but I do believe heavily in reincarnation. I'm also a strong believer in stuff like chi, spirit guidance, etc.
It's quite complicated, actually. xD
