What's your religion??

Mine is Christianity - I occasionally go to a Lutheran church near our home, though my mom and I don't really like the pastor. But I'm also very superstitious - I believe in luck and fate, and I believe that everything is structured, beautiful, and meaningful.

I believe in God and that Jesus was his son, and while I believe we're all separate individuals, I also think we're also little pieces of God, and that when we die, we will all return to a vast reservoir of shared knowledge and love.

What do you believe? =)

I don't know if there is a name for my religion. I believe mainly like a Christian. But I don't believe in Hell. I don't think God would put someone through a torture as Hell unless they sinned every second of their life, which is impossible, so I don't believe in it. I also don't think you are punished for not believing in the right religion, or not believing the right way. I believe God just accepts you for who you are and allows you to be yourself in Heaven.

I'm a catholic and I believe in bits and pieces of the religion, and I'm sure bits and pieces of many others, but I don't really go to church. I live by love and happiness, and mainly try to avoid fear and regret.

hmmm well i think part of being a moonchild is accepting others as they are, regardless of belief or character, so i trust that people will keep this peaceful and be considerate of other religions. i actually like hearing about what others believe.

well, i'm KIND OF christian. the reason i say KIND OF is that it would depend on your definition of christianity. for example, i don't agree with all parts of the bible.... i mainly focus on the love xD

Wow, that really made me think. I feel like God would give anyone a chance, no matter how their life on our imperfect world was. it's never too late for redemption. and now i sound overly religious, but this is just what i thought of when i saw what you said.

I used to be a christian-catholic, but I drop it because Kerli opened me into spirituality. I dropped it because there were somethings I didn't agree with. The base of my belief are from christianity, but I take different things from everywhere but mostly its off of guidance from Kerli.

I also don't believe in God. I guess it is because I'm from Estonia. It is one of the most atheistic countrys. I think I have almost no friends who believe in god. But people believe here more like in souls and ghosts and this kind of stuff Smile

Ive always tried to keep myself open for anything and everything but i think there isn't a single religion i agree with 100%.
i dont mind other people believeving but i hate when some start forcing it on you.
i think that u have to find religion yourself - when you're old enough to understand it. thats the reason i dont agree with growing your child INTO a religion.

i want my kids to have choices. my dad's a priest so i didn't really get much of a choice. so i want to give my kids the chance to experience other beliefs and lifestyles so that they can choose for themselves, rather than me force christianity on them.

oh and i go to a christian boarding school, but most of my peers agree that it isn't very "supportive" of each individual's faith, so i don't want to send my children to a religious SCHOOL either. i just think it might put them off believing in anything.

Our chaplain doesn't let us say the word "sin" because he doesn't want students to feel bad or get depressed. And yet he keeps saying that God forgives us. But in my opinion, forgiveness can't exist without repentence. And how can you feel sorry for something if you don't acknowledge it as a negative action?

Lol I'm beginning to get worried that the things I say sound like I'm forcing my beliefs on others so sorry if that's how people take it. I really don't mean for it to sound like that.

well my family is catholic but i dont agree with some of the stuff so im going to stick with Integrity. Love. Unity. i mean i think god is real i just dont think that god hates gay ppl because hes supposed to love everyone Smile

oh i hate when people use that one! i really don't see why people say that god hates gay people. i mean, i don't see how that lifestyle choice affects anyone else but you. you should be able to make that decision on your own without having to ask for their permission! the whole concept just seems ridiculous to me.

and yes, I do follow it... kinda Very Happy

I mean, I gotta admit, sometimes I do forget about God but sometimes I feel really happy to be Christian. I think that all those small bad things that happened in your life were made to remind you that God is with you Smile

I almost died in a car accident a few years ago when I was with some kids from my school riding a bus to Poland. When ambulance came, they thought that everyone was already dead because the bus looked horrible. But luckily, everyone was alive, only about 10 people were a little bit hurt

( I was one of those people of course xD gosh, im so clumsy xD) you cannot believe how happy I was to stay alive

... although I did feel emotionally drained and I was scared to ride a bus for a few weeks, sometimes I have panic attacks and I often have nightmares about car accidents, but I'm VERY happy that I stayed alive

We only have one god! But we have different religiuons! I don't really follow any religon. I do go to church sometimes.. I do belive in god. I belive in heaven & hell.. I mean u either go to one place or another. I belive you don't need to really go to church at all if u belive in "God". I just don't think people should push reglion on anyone.I mean they should't be preachy. Awesome if the person want's to here about it then by all means tell them.

I remember once my friend was being very preachy with me about geting "Saved" & being a christien.She told me if i don't be saved id won't go to heaven.

Don't get me wrong, we all appreciate your opinions. The only problem (to me, anyway) is the way you convey your opinions as the only truth, ultimately treating other religions and beliefs as inferior and fake. Examples are:
