YES. When I saw her live, at the part You will sleep when we shut out the lights the lights actually did go out and it was really cool. And what I loved a lot about the performance in Poland (that's where I saw her) is that at the Take the pill, take the pill, take the pill (...) take it, take it, take it, swallow, swallow, swallow part she usually yells it at the audience, as in telling them to take the pill and when I saw her live, the audience already knew the lyrics so we were screaming Take it! at her and she was covering her head as if we were the doctors and the nurses and she was an inmate and it was AH - MA - ZING

I'm lucky enough to have a father who likes her and doesn't mind me seeing her shows, so I was able to go this year. I reaaaaally hope you can make it to a show. <3

i think i'd feel a little uncomfortable going with either of my parents because of things such as the rat game, veva's burlesque and what emilie and the bloody crumpets wear (although i'm such a fan of veronica, i think she's so inspiring and brilliant, her blog is beautiful!). also, none of my friends like emilie's music, so guess i will have to wait for a couple of years so i can go on my own or something

I know exactly what you mean and can completely relate. It. Really depends on your parents- mine aren't strict at all and my father tends to go for more eclectic musical acts, but I was still worried he'd be weirded out by the show. He happened to like it- but like I said, really depends on your parents!
VeVa's amazing, I met her at the merch table of my EA concert and she was so cute!

Either way, I hope one day you can see her shows- even if you have to wait, I'm sure it'll be amazing!

Meh. I kinda started to become a little bit less of a fan when she started selling those exclusive fan club things for $100. I mean, I get it's a lifetime membership and all, but it just seems really pricey and I feel like lately she's been pushing sales more than being fan-friendly >_<

I can't really believe she said that.. She's always seemed like a very nice person to me. I think it might be something her fans thought up because Emilie is more 'experimental' than singers like Gags or Kerli
