Re: Welcome to the Hair Central
Hmm... For most of my life all I did with my hair was get side bangs, blonde highlights, and leave it down. I have been dying for a certain hairstyle for 3 years now but I'm kinda scared to get it. I was thinking something like this:
I've always loved hair like that, you know, short layers on top and still having long hair? Not to mention how awesome it looks when you tease it. And if I got it I would also put in streaks of pink, blue, green, and purple. I love colourful hair. What does everyone else think?
Also, I bleached my hair for the sole purpose of using Manic Panic's Cotton Candy Pink, and it didn't work on my hair. -___- I was pretty upset, although I love the bleached colour. Has anyone else had any luck with that? I used Manic Panic to dye my hair red and it came out amazing. And my hair wasn't bleached! Any tips? O.o

I loved that hair, I teased it, and it was amazing, you should go for it.

I haven't exactly tested how different foods affect your hair, since I eat things like dark vegetables, eggs and carrots quite regularly... Maybe I should get some fish-oil capsules, I've been thinking about that for a long time. Or just eat real fish, lol. I don't know why we don't buy it more... Hopefully things will change now ;)
I've also been learning to drink more water, I don't know if that helps with hair O.o
My hair used to be super greasy; it would be greasy withing 24 ours of washing it, so I made the mistake of washing my hair every day. I stopped doing that few months ago, and now I can go two days without washing, three if I have dry shampoo! My hair is also extremely fine, so it looks flat really easily. The dry shampoo gives some volume as well ^_^
Also, my tips are rather dry at times, but really letting the conditioner soak in helps a bit. Sometimes I use a leave-in conditioner, too.

bleurgh, my nearly-waist-length hair is in such bad condition. it's all broken and split at th bottom and i have to go to the hairdressers soon to get at least 4 inches cut off
^^leave in conditioner works best for me, too. because my hair is really thick i have to quickly condition in twice in the shower so leave in conditioner i can keep in my hair for ages and get the best result
