The t.v movie has too many storie lines to follow. It was made very poor.No good looking men either. The clothes of the first class people are not even nice.
Id love to see it in 3d.I seen it in 1997 in the movies. And still own it on vhs.lol

That's true about there being a fairy tale craze lately. There's like, two other Snow White movies, one about Hansel & Gretel, and Sleeping Beauty. Plus, there's the show Once Upon a Time. Some of them sound interesting, but I don't know too much about them yet.

Re: Movies
We watched Fire Walk With Me, after having finished watching Twin Peaks (for the second time). The movie is sort of a prequel to the series, and explains some things more. The movie wasn't as good as the series, but if you're a fan, I'd recommend you watch it :)

Re: Movies
Finally got to see 'Titanic' again..♥
it's so tragic, but still soothing and it makes me go omg, since I remember this movie from my childhood and I bet I watched it about 20 times now in my life,I used to play some scenes from it with my cousin when i was 6 in the swimming hall and I was like 'Jack,Jack..' heheh, though my cousin's female..still I guess it's the first time I really understood the tragedy AND love in't..this film is genius and I love Leo&Kate for this performance...James Cameron's the master himself..
&Mimi..I'm sorry your uncle had died in such a accident,I know he's looking upon you from the most beautiful cloud, loving you and I understand it's hard for u to bear watching it and so you shouldn't watch it..
I think, though,if you take this film profoundly in, it can tell you, that it can be over tomorrow,so go seize every single moment having been given to you...it's too precious to waste!
Love,to you all..I'm so sentimental thinking of it..♥

Re: Movies
We watched:
Brazil. It was awesome and funny :D It's about a man who has these dreams where he's flying and he sees his dream girl... And then he meets her in real life, and they fall in love. The world of the movie is amazing, everyone's busy at their pointless jobs, the man's mother goes to plastic surgeries for fun, the police look like nazis because of their uniforms, the architecture is beautiful... The world is rather polluted, too. The man isn't happy at his job, even though he doesn't want it to change. Robert de Niro's character, a freelance plumber, was funny as hell :D
Internet Movie Database: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088846/
Melancholia. Directed by Lars von Trier but BEFORE you decide not to watch it because you know who he is, let me tell you... This movie is really "friendly" to watch. There's no in-your-face sexual intercourse as would expect from Lars. There's one sex scene, but it happens fully clothed and we see them from far away. Plus we see Kirsten Dunst naked, but it's just a beautiful scene. I didn't see the point of her being naked, but it was beautifully shot and such... This movie can be hard to understand, as we read from the database comments >_< People are so stupid... But yeah, the scenery is beautiful, the colors are beautiful, the actors are powerful, and the story is refreshing. In the beginning there's a wedding, and that's what tires people... But watch carefully, there's more to it... The second part is about... Hm, human instincts and behavior. Like the whole movie is, actually. There's a planet coming towards Earth, and people panic and it's fun to watch :)
Internet Movie Database: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1527186/
I highly recommend both!

Re: Movies
Wow, I'm glad to hear positive feedback about Melancholia. I wanted to watch that for a while now, knowing that Lars has worked with Björk before. (My friend dragged me to "The Help", whatever, I don't think it was anything special)
I'm still absolutely fascinated by "The Artist". I watched it last week, and OMG, I mean, the set design and the outfits would have made up for anything (ok I love the 20s) BUT HELL WAS IT GOOD. It makes me think how silent films are more like theater and how film nowadays is getting more and more like life with 3D technology.

Avengers rocked! i'm a marvel child and usually get angry with changing the storylines or the actors, like Elektra..Elektra is my ultimate marvel character and she's a cold blooded killer, and although i looove jennifer garner, she was way too sweet to portray elektra. But the avengers OMG..i think the comic fan base will be pleased. Robert Downey Jr as Tony stark a.k.a Iron man is ULTIMATE.. so fucking funny... the whole cinema room was laughing like crazy. and Scarlett johhanson as black widow was marvelous.. i'll definitely watch it again..

Yeah, it did! I loved it. I think it had a good mix of humor and seriousness. I went to the midnight showing and some people had some really great costumes, especially ones who you could tell put a lot of effort into them. Like, some of the Iron Man costumes were pretty spectacular.
