(True story) The Dragonfly and the Fourleafclover

Last summer something unbelievable happened to me that really changed my life.
I never thought something as magical and strange could happen to me... And ever after I have felt surrounded by mysteries and I feel so thankful for that very special evening...

The 7th of August, last summer as I said, I was laying on the grass outside with my dog. Dragonflies were flying over a clearblue sky, animals that always have fascinated me.
Suddenly I saw a dragonfly standing in midair less than two meters away from me. It felt like it was watching me, and I was just stunned. Then it flew through a portal we have in our garden, stopped there for some seconds and then flew back to the spot infront of me, never taking it's eyes off me. It flew through the portal again, waiting in midair. I, hypnotized, went after it, it felt like it wanted to show me something. When I reached the point where the dragonfly was standing it flew back to the first spot, waited for some seconds for me to follow. As I almost was there it flew away into the forest.
I don't know how, but my reaction was to look at the ground. There. A fourleafclover with three yellow leaves and one green.

Now this fourleafclover is in a golden frame on my shelf with "mystery-evidence".. As I find my dragonfly story hard to believe myself, I would never blame anyone for not believing me. In Sweden they come in the summer-fall.. Most of them are big and brown, but the one that showed me was blue-green and small :3 ^^

thats amazing. insects and the like have always fascinated me. they are very mysterious, and i think that they are here for a reason. each one has a purpose, be it for play or for plague.

your story reminded me of camp, when they used to call me "the bug girl" because i would play with them so much. particularly moths, dragonflies, snails, caterpillars, earth wormss, beetles and others.

now i am mottephobic

I'm sorry you're suffering from mottephobic >: I am kind of scared of many insects and such too, even butterflies sometimes o__e But I don't have a problem with it because I can ignore most fears...

its strange, because i think moths are so cool even though i am scared of them! i think over time my fear has eased up a little, but that may be because i have not seen a moth in a long time.....

my favorite moths are lunar moths (they remind me of fairies) and gothic moths (they have markings like gothic architecture)

Wow, that lunar moth looks totally like a fairy *-* We have the gothic moth in Sweden : )

it does, and wow! I've never got to see one in nature before. Where I live, you only see the small white ones and sometimes bigger ones that like to chase people.

I have a memory of seeing a lunar moth at night on a tree when i was very little, but i do not know if it was a dream or a real memory. it was so long ago, but so magical.

do you have any memories that could be dreams?

Yeah, I see a lot of white moths in the summer.

Hmmm yeah, but don't remember any specific dream/memories right now... I quite often dream that people say things and then I think they've said it in reality... It's a problem sometimes haha o:
