I'm then going to feature them on my site! They can be as long or as short as you want and you can include pictures! Wrong, she's been focusing on her album, but trying to keep her fan base at the same time. She has already leaked songs, which definitely is not okay looking at her labels side. If she couldn't tweet about her clothes and stuff and she can't put music out because of her label, then why should people still check her facebook and other social media?
Would you have her not tweeting at all? No news of her for like a year?What would she tweet about then, only when she's in the studio or making a song, which she can't tell you about yet?Besides it is logical that news with pictures demand more attention than just news. You still want to see her pictures and without this style-showing thing she would lose one reason to post them. Pictures of her just chilling at home would be dumb and only pictures of her infront of the computer making music would get boring. But it is always interesting to see a new look on someone, that's why all these lookbooks and fashion blogs have gotten so relevant.
All though yes, in a bigger picture all those fashion bloggers seem just shallow. It is just like : "Uuh look at my new stuff! Buy this stuff! More stuff for everyone!" But then again creating your own style is also creating and can be a statement or a side of your life. Also people these days are getting only more and more visual. Loads of peeps get interested in music by looking at some artists photos. And the more photos you have where you are dressed up interesting, the more chances are that someone accidentally finds your photo on tumblr or something like that, starts to get interested in who you are and finds your music. Plus he or she can be blinded by your visuals and like the music more because of that . Like i saw a cool picture of Porcelain from the tramps and i searched her out because of that, but her music is just awful (only in my opinion, not offending anyone), still i loaned her music my attention and surely would not have, if she would have looked like another boring singer.

Shit, I've written a lot. I am mostly an observer here at TOL, and sometimes I think that Kerli has spoiled her fans. She seems to work so hard to have all moonchildren aboard, giving out info practically every day and sometimes it seems to me that her most loyal fans question her the most and are quicker to criticize without thinking too much about it. Not to offend anyone, just my thoughts.Mostly you all seem great. I am just a Bat for Lashes fan and I would like to have more info on what she is doing and is there any chance for a new album. Her last post was in June 2011.

no but seriously. you guys.. you haven't been waiting that long. Try being an Evanescence fan instead. They take looong breaks in between albums, and Kerli has kept us updated throughout the years.

And I much more prefer if an artist takes the time to make a perfect album, that we'll enjoy for years, instead of putting out crap music every year that has no meaning. buut maybe that's just me xD

@morphiid- Don't worry, we all support Kerli here. My comment was said jokingly. I love Kerli, otherwise I wouldn't be so eager about her album after 3 (or is it 4?) years, right? xD I'd just prefer her tweets to be more relevant to her music as oppose to pictures of her outfits all the time. I wasn't trying to criticize her. I appreciate that she keeps us updated. I agree with you that it's a smart way to promote herself Smile

@Mary- I'm a major Ev fan too, I know how that is xD Nightwish and Emilie Autumn take a long time as well. And that's not really a bad thing. Problem with Kerli 's album is we keep getting these predicted release dates (remember when the album was suppose to be out May 2010?), which makes the wait feel much longer than it really is >_< But I guess I'm just spoiled like morphiid said. I'm anxious to see what Kerli has in store for us.

Just a heads-up to anyone who wants to friend Kerli on Facebook: I asked her, after encountering countless Kerli Koivs and even stupidly friending one, to speak out against imposters. Kerli - the real one - told me that the Kerli music Page is the only profile on Facebook run by the real Kerli. All others are fakes. So you're warned albino

I think it's awful to fool people into thinking you're their idol and toy with their feelings, and Kerli is just awesome for clearing this up.
