Although because I'm dedicated I will call the stations non-stop requesting she's played. She's got a very close fan group, near all her fans would do LOTS for her. Lots of artists lack that. I think we'll help.

I can understand you feeling that way. I was feeling like that myself..I like how things are.I mean i do want to get big and be more popular...But i feel a bit selfish cuz part of me doesn't either..To be honest i really don't think she sell out..Not kerli. She doesn't seem like the type of singer that would..Mybe she might do some popish songs just to be herd..[b]

Yeah, me too. Neutral

I would be so sad if she stopped being able to communicate with the fans who really care about her message because of a bunch of fickle fans who were swamping her with dumb questions just because they liked her single.

I know if she has a really great song it's going to happen that a bunch of people like it, and a bunch of people like her because of it.. and I want people to know who she is and for her to get credit for all of the amazing things that she does. But I'll be so mad if they just like her music and that one song and don't get the message.

I also hope they promote her better this time too. Why was she playing at sporting events for all of her old album promo and not on TV shows and things?

I think maybe more people would have known her, at least in the US, if she would have done some performances on things like Saturday Night Live... and not at sporting events. Sports fans don't seem like her target audience to me. Razz

I don't want to lose Kerli either. As much as she deserves to be adored worldwide, it would be such a shame if it was for shallow reasons. Another thing I'm worried about is the whole Kerli vs. Lady GaGa argument blowing up even more, and that GaGa fans will think Kerli's trying to "steal her limelight" or something...

But I'm consoling myself with the fact that, no matter what happens, we Moon Children have a very special connection with Kerli that nobody can take away. Also, I'd like as many Moon Children as possible who haven't discovered Kerli yet to know about her and feel like they belong, because I remember how strange and lonely I felt before I found out about her. I know Kerli has the potential to change so many more lives through this new album and I hope she does Smile

What I find a bit frustrating is wondering when in July the single is going to be released. What if we have to wait another whole month to hear it? I hope it's more like early to mid-July, rather than towards the end of the month. little while ago kerli emailed me, saying that the single is FINISHED. and the label is taking it to the radios now.. but it could take couple of months for the radios to play the single Sad

so be prepared to wait a little longer!

I agree. We need to at least know the name of the single so we can request it. Radio stations won't play it if no one requests it.

It looks like the single will be realeased late September-October now. I hope that the date of the single release is more or less fixed. Kerli said on Formspring that the single has been chosen and that she will be working on the finishing touches early next month. Fingers crossed! Very Happy
