It can be done girls! I saved a little every week and hunted for deals like crazy. Instead of paying $200 I only paid $100 with shipping! Lots and lots of penny pinching.

I had the same pair Kerli had, u know the pink with a zebra print but they broke.. so this time I bought a more expensive pair, hoping they'd last longer (the pink ones only lasted like 6 months, if that). The new pair is much much heavier though, so hopefully I can wear them for years.

DX I have this pair of pink ballerina flats with long ties that I'm gonna customize by adding a platform and covering this ugly hemp-ish stuff that's on them. I'm hoping they'll turn out sort of like rocking horse shoes!

well, you're not gonna believe it... i saw a very similar pair of shoes in a store in the city i live in, and they cost about 100€, and this saturday i was at a flea market (not used stuff only new ones, here we have a weakly kind of flea market where you can buy vegetables, plants, clothes, shoes, even furniture), and found these for 15€ so i got them without a thought.... !!!
