sad but true

My body fails me the minds still strong
while things just dont feel the same
no more bounce or smiles left to give
just living to please everyone but me
while my own choices made never met the grade

lost and trapped is just another day with me
Am my own best friend with nothing to say
a cruel twist in life i will have my day
time will pass the world forgets my mistakes

I saw the future the day i will die
and even that wasnt enough to bring a tear to my eye
the skies dont darken no Eclipse will form
just love and laughter while the world moves on
