:::A stolen kiss upon my cheek

To meet you that night

Upon my balcony I waited

Staring at the setting sun

I ran across the grassy field

Into the chilled night air

The trees reaching to the sky

Animals trotting through

I laid my eyes on you

Leaning against a tree

Baring a beautiful smile

And we went dancing:::


:::Everyone is wearing smiles tonight

All except the girl in the corner

Reading to herself for distraction

Secretly her heart is breaking

She longs for your embrace

To see your deep, hazel eyes

It is her one Christmas wish

One that will never come true

She knows that you love her

The other girl sitting there

The pain is enough for tears

Her well hidden secret is out:::

I wish you knew how much you hurt me.

There's only so much I can take of this.

I want you. You want her. She wants him.

Isn't that wonderful?

Every time you mention her name, my chest tightens.

I just wish you would look at me with those hazel eyes the way you do to her.

If you did so just once my life would feel perfect for at least one moment.

If only it was possible for such a thing to happen.

I wonder if you miss me.

I laid there in my bedroom wondering.

Hopeing. Crying. Wishing. And wondering.

It's been four days since I heard the song.

A song you no longer deserve.

It's not because my phone is on vibrate.

It has been set to loud for the last several days.

So then why do I never hear that song?

Oh that song! I miss it!

How could you do this to me?

You said you wanted to be with me!

You said all those sweet nothings!

The emotional torment I feel will fade yes,

But I should be feeling it at all

You! You did this to me! You caused this pain!

How dare you think you can do that to me!

How dare you!

And now, the tears fall….

One, two…

Three, four…

The beat starts slowly…

You're tapping your foot now

The pulse flows through you faster

Energy moving everyone in the room

Like nothing you've ever experience before

You're body starts moving up and down with the beat

How can you resist that feeling, the Techno feeling!

One day I'll find you. I'll stand on your doorstop and knock on the door. Will you remember me? If you do, what would you say? Would you say sorry? That would never be enough. For you to simply say sorry for doing what you did would be evil in itself. I wonder if you feel anything at all about any of that. Regret? Sorrow? Pain? Twisted happiness? I have to wonder….But that does no good. It doesn't help the paranoia and depression you've caused.
