Claudia's poems.
I might start up my own thread to keep my poems grouped together.
Unity.
You promised a childish promise.
We will die together, by each other side.
We are welcomed into this world together, into the arms of our mother.
Promise me to never leave without me?
A minute, an hour, a day.
Time flies by when we have fun.
We believe it won’t end; the joy we share will never end.
But someday, it will.
When big brother left us I was sad.
Yes we were younglings, but I understood.
He doesn’t want to see our faces ever again.
You won’t leave me, you made a promise.
And you stuck to that, for awhile.
Life is a cruel joke.
It breaks my heart to see you suffer.
Struggling through your final days.
I could only stand and watch you with tear filled eyes.
You pledge to never leave me, but you are.
Your time is ticking away, each day felt like a heavy burden.
Please, please don’t go.
Our strong bond has weakened, but I can still feel your pain.
It hurts you to speak, but I know what you wanted to say.
To say sorry in silent words.
But I don’t have the courage to forgive.
Your days are numbered.
Passing away with your frail hands in mine.
I watch as you slip into an eternal sleep.
A single tear trail down my cheek.
I kiss you on the forehead goodbye
Then the realization hit.
You’re not here anymore
To help me up when I fall.
To dry my tears.
To make me laugh.
You’re gone, forever.
It hurts, the empty feeling is painful.
You made a promise, but you lied.
And I never forgave you.
Being swallowed alive by guilt is too much.
But you’re here still.
Even though our soul is ripped apart.
I can still feel you,
A little piece lingers in my heart.
As new tears fall
I learn to forgive every lie.
Every fight and argument.
Even if you’re not physically here.
You’re with me, through the good and bad.
You broke a promise, and I forgive you.
And let me promise to you.
Never let this Unity go.
Integrity.
I reached for the stars, only to crumble back down to the ground.
Nothing hurts more then to fail without trying.
Tough as life can be, it has many downfalls.
Earning my freedom is difficult then expected.
Gather myself up; piece by piece I stick myself together.
Reclaiming my rights and my freedom.
I’ll fly among the moon and stars in the end.
Tonight, I will shine brighter then before.
You’ll see a new me, the real me.
Here are they, Unity need a little polishing though but I'll fix it later.

Re: Claudia's poems.
omg omg omg idk which one i like better!!!!!! Unity is so beautiful and full of emotion while Integrity is so profound freaking awesome!
Re: Claudia's poems.
aww thanks :]
Unity I need to explain better, it is about my life and future.
When I was young me and my brother both promise to be by each other. No my brother didn't die, it's like the future event or something.
Unity really suited well with that poem, because twins have the strongest bond.
Found the secret message in Integrity?

omg really? That's awesome!
I have this book that I carry around with me and it's like my creative book and there is this page dedicated to everyone on the ToL. It has like nearly everyone's names and all :]
I'm going to choose Unity for the comp, I had put more thoughts into it and it is brutelly honest.

Aww! That is so sweet =')
Both of these poems are stunning, and so heartfelt. I felt my heart beat faster when I read Unity and I almost cried. Integrity is the most beautiful acrostic poem I have ever seen. I remember writing acrostic poems in primary school, they were all mind-numbingly simplistic and the lines hardly ever made any sense put together xD
I'm finding it so hard to find any inspiration for my Potions poem. It makes it worse that I'm panicking a little now, because the deadline is so close. Reading these has helped me though. Thankyou, and keep writing and posting

Re: Claudia's poems.
Okay I haven't written any poems in a while so the other day I wrote two. And my poetry writing is a little out of whack.
Mirror.
The Girl in the mirror
She speaks not a word
Her tiny mouth moves silently
Is she complimenting or insulting?
Only those who can read the voices knows
Never again.
Utter silence is whispering
A little girl is missing
Gone exploring where the unthinkable dwell
Ironically enough, down the rabbit hole she fell.
Twisting and turning
Now Hear the faint lullaby of mourning
Never was she seen again.
