“Minu hommik algab tavaliselt sellest, et avan läpaka ja hakkan kohe tööle, muusikat tegema. Kui aega on, siis turgutan end värske smuutiga, kuhu panen sisse igasugu puvilju ja midagi rohelist, näiteks spinatit. Siis sukeldun tundideks muusikamaailma, suitsetan ja unustan kõik muu,” räägib USAs lauljakarjääri tegev Kerli Kõiv.

“Kusjuures muidu ma üldse ei suitseta, aga loomingut tehes on see miskipärast vajalik,” lisab ta.

Kerli räägib ajakirjas Anne&Stiil, et alles õhtul meenub talle, et kõht on päris tühjaks läinud. “Siis lähen lähimasse poodi ja varustan end toidukraamiga — üritan süüa nii palju mahetoitu kui võimalik, sest Ameerika toit on kõiksugu aineid täis.”

Lauljatar jutustab, et kiirematel aegadel sulgub ta oma maailma, milleks on korter koos stuudio ja ateljeega, kus ta hoiab ja valmistab esinemiskostüüme. “Siis ütlen oma poisilegi, et ära mulle järgmisel neljal päeval helista, mul on vaim peal.”

Mõni aeg tagasi kolis Kerli oma boyfriendist lahku, et rohkem muusikale pühenduda. “Me oleme ikka koos, aga mul on vaja aega ainult enda jaoks. Ta mõistab mind täielikult, ta on ise ka kunstnik.”

Awwwww! I KNEW it! I couldn't accept that they were just friends, they always seemed way too close for that. They're perfect together, I'm so happy for them both <3

The last paragraph says that Kerli moved away from her boyfriend so she could focus more on her music. Then she says something like "We're still together, but I just need time for myself. He understands me completely, as he is an artist himself." Very Happy

Kerli said in Anne and Stiil interview that: "My boyfriend is the only thing I'd like to keep in secret, because everyone knows everything about my life and he's the one I'd like to keep private."

She said she shares her life with everyone because she wants us to see that everything she does is real and her made, not some fashion designer creation. She wants to show us that everything you can think of, you can create. And everything you want to be, you can be.

Also she said she scares people...like she is afraid of them when there's many of them around her. And at the same time she wants to sell out stadiums.
