I think toho Malaysia confirmed it early today.
I wish I could see them in concert but I don't think they'll come back to the US anytime soon
But as long as they continue making music I'll be happy

A Greatest Hits album? I wonder how they'll narrow down all the brilliant songs they've done?

I've got to the point where I hardly listen to the English versions of their songs. They sound so much better in German for some reason.

I'm not sure how I feel about a greatest hits album actually, it seems too early in their career, but if there's new music on it I'm a little more enthused about the whole thing

Hmm, I just hope it turns out well for them. I think they've chosen the right songs for a Greatest Hits album and I like the sound of the new songs! I done some research and the Mädchen aus dem All was a song back in their devilish eras. Hurricanes And Suns is officially the new track, I'm confused. Are they re-recording the MADA? Or just putting it on for the sake of it.

I hope that the cd is released in the US in mid. Dec. If it's not till Jan, I can't help but feel that their management is trying to make the band fail in the US because by then the new songs will be on the internet and people will just illegally download them instead of buying the cd. Sure some fans will still go out and buy it but others won't. I get that Tokio Hotel isn't actively trying to break into the mainstream US music scene but I think their management could put a little more effort in making the band visible here

Us Aussie Fans are working our asses off in getting the CDs into stores, We manage to get Tokio Hotel posters in a few magazines. I'm happy they put down Australia

I hope US gets the album mid December but there has been no official word on it so I'm not gonna worry about it to have to. I think Cherrytree (their American label) does want them to do well (I mean why would you want your own artist to fail?) but their a little to busy with their more popular artists like Far East Movement (Like a G6) and La Roux (Bulletproof) to give them the proper attention they deserve.

I thought it was weird they are putting a Devilish song on there but whatever it'll be awesome. I really hope they rerecord it, I would love that.

I feel this new song"Hurricanes and Suns" really bridges their first CD (with Monsoon) to their last CD (with Dark side of the Sun) they really seem to like the sun and storms

Well you really can't hear much because some lady is speaking over it (in an Asian language, I can't tell which one right now, I just woke up)

It kinda has an electro sound to it and Bill's voice sounds, I don't know how to describe it, almost deeper at the start, I'm excited to hear the whole thing!

Their going to premiere Hurricanes and Suns on The Mappes Show on November 22nd 2010. The show runs from 7-10 AM Greek Time, and after this they will play the song several times during the day at Mad Radio!

Yeah it's not their best song, and honestly it kinda reminds of another song I just can't think of the name (not another Tokio Hotel song though)

They are sound different in this. But it is growning on me I don't dislike it.

But it's their choice to do what ever they want with their music, I'll still support.

I use to have to strain to hear the guitar, bass and drums in some humanoid songs.

Humanoid was the first CD I bought, just recently got my Scream.

I do prefer their old stuff.

aww finally after i long while i can comment at first when i heard it i was like wtf but now i think it's pretty catchy even the lyrics don't have that deep meaning some other songs of them do but it'll be a great single though at least to get more fans
what i am really happy about is that they're including a devilish song in their best of album

the song is definitely catchy etc, but it's not what i want them to sing... it's not what they said they stood for and ever since humanoid i've been kind of disappointed in the type of songs they released. [though some songs on humanoid were reminiscent of their original sounds, i admit]

I like the new song, its very catchy. I haven't been a fan for as long as others so I don't feel as attached to the older music, and I liked Humanoid also. So in general, I avoid hard core fans, and I don't think I'll ever join a ToHo forum because quite frankly I think the most outspoken fans are batshit crazy. I don't think major are, but there are some and they're the loudest fans. I've sat back and watched people call them names, defend them, analyze and critic everything they do, and think they're going to marry one of the boys, so many fans comment on their personalities too, I might think the boys act a certain way, but by no means do I think that I know what they're actually like. And the whole move to US thing kind of annoys me, because some European fans are like 'I just feel better when their in germany' or I saw one girl say something along the lines of 'I'm going to kidnap them are bring them back here' and then they wonder why the twins wanted to leave for a bit. And then people bring up that LA has more paparazzi so it'll be worse for them, I hate to break to people but most people in the US have no idea who they are, and ever if they did the US has really good laws abt that kind of thing.

haha. you haven't seen anything until you've seen the th_cult on livejournal. i haven't been on there in years because the drama was just killing me.
and there's soooo much about the guys online... they've been famous for a really long time, so hardcore fans who watch every single interview etc might actually know the guys.
although, as far as wanting to marry/kidnap them, they're just stories. i like saying stuff like that too. it's just for fun.
one reason why i kinda stopped being a 'hardcore' fan is because their music changed so much. i don't really like the direction they're going in. it's turning into just another boy band.

I really don't think some of the fans are kidding, and I seem to be the only person that likes the way they're going, I think their old stuff is just ok, I like that their experimenting and trying to find their own sound, I'd really love to see more music written without Jost's team, not that I dislike them or anything I just want to see what Tokio Hotel can write on their own

I'm liking the new song. I appreciate it when a band/artist can have fun with songs too. There's never anything wrong with a song having a good hook either I'm going to have "See the halo, ha-ha-halo" going round in my head for a long time. I'm like Quincy in that I didn't know of Tokio Hotel in their Schrei and Zimmer years. I do love all of their music though, and I won't mind if they change their style completely for the next album. I'm sure you'll understand that I feel it's about the band and how far they've come as well as the music. These guys were born to be Tokio Hotel, and I love how they live to create music for their fans ^^

I'm from Team Cinema Bizarre, haha =P I mean, well, I used to listen to them both, TH and CB, then I started to think that Tokio Hotel is a bit.. Well, I don't know but why are they making most of their songs both English and German? Either one of them sounds weird. Example! : I like Spring Nicht, not Don't Jump. Schrei is better than Scream. And Rette Mich, better than Rescue Me. I like Monsoon but not Durch den Monsun, cause Bill sounds so childish there. I know he was like 16 or something. But Kerli was, too when she had sung Beautiful Inside, and she's had a strong voice. And I can't say that I like TH's style. I mean 4 diffrent styles, while Georg and the other guy look a bit more casual, Bill is the emo kid and Tom is the rapper!
I adored Luminor from Cinema Bizarre, his voice was amazing. I like Strify's too but after Luminor had left, I have never thought they could be the same. So I'm just listening to their old songs. And I got nothing against Tokio Hotel, but ehh, whatever. x

I've never understood people getting tattoos identical to their fav. singers/actors/etc. If I ever get a tattoo to 'represent' my love for a celebrity ( something I have been thinking about lately) It would be something semi-unique that holds special meaning to me, I won't want an exact replica
