Synesthersia is an awesome thing to have, I wish I have that instead of my weird little thing I do with lightbulbs

Sometimes what I do is kinda synesthersia related. I listen to a song and then think "Okay what colour does it feel and sound like." To me, a colour has each an individual feel and sound, something I made up myself.

They flicker when I am around sometimes or blow out:P

A blackout: I walk into the room and magical they turn on, it happened twice.

brother turns light on in my room at 1AM in the morning: I hissed at it and it blew out.

Me acting like an idiot and sing really badly: Blew light bulb out.

I actually stared at a blown light bulb in my room and it flickered.

I don't have synesthesia, I can feel music so strongly though. Sometimes it can have a major effect on my emotions, like Kerli says. I can be walking along with my iPod on, have a certain song come on and I'll feel like crying my eyes out, either from happiness or sadness.

Woah, Kerli considers herself a 7...I'm a 7 too! Apparently it's the number of magic, imagination and I think Kerli mentioned it can be linked to creativity too. The number follows me everywhere, like right now I'm living in flat 7C of my halls xD Does anybody else get that?

As for my power, I'm hyper-sensitive and a medium. I don't think I just feel the spirits of the dead though, I have an affinity with fairies, who are sort of in between the spiritual and physical. I have a guardian fairy, Vyvi, who I believe is always with me ^^

my number is 3. totally!

when i listen to songs, i see shapes and landscapes. it's pretty interesting.

also, another form of synesthesia is seeing colours in numbers. for me, 3 is blue, 5 is red, and 0 is white.

I never knew about this till this post, but does synesthesia have to be seeing colours? Because i ike, see sounds. Each songs has a different pattern and stuff like that, so would that be considered synesthesia?

I see sounds, and sometimes it's colors, usually multiple colors, like a bunch of high notes together will be a bunch of colors ... Oh, I need an example to make this make any sort of sense.. But I also see other things sometimes.
Smells and feelings sometimes have colors for me, too. Like, some floor cleaner is yellow.
I also taste colors. That one is pretty annoying. Like I can't stand certain shades of green... lol

omg...!! I did not know that this is real .. ahh god for me was always normal for me, always thought ahh god I can not believe I have some synaesthetic..

This is interesting! I once saw a documentary where a man couldn't go to the store, because he tasted colors and it was too much for him :D And he could only buy certain colored items, because they tasted nice.

I don't think I have synesthesia, but I see colors when I listen to music. And pictures (and animations, I have a few music videos in my head :D), lots of pretty (or not!) pictures that I'd like to draw. Also, sometimes when I see a picture of a person, I can smell them xD And I can see a color around them.

I am the same way. Most songs I listen to gives me paranoid thoughts and not good ones at all (and that only happens when I listen to most music alone, I am able to live my life still). Very few songs make me feel safe and happy.

Ahh synesthesia. I most likely have a few forms of it, graphme(I believe that's the word) and personification. ^^ I tend to personify everything, I remember when I was little sitting in my room personifiying numbers.

Wow, I feel strongly about songs just like Kerli! I kind of thought I was the only one because sometimes the power of the song is just so strong in my mind and I cry or just can't control myself. I don't know how to explain it exactly lol

wow I never heard of synesthesia. It's so interesting. I don't think I have it but for me music, color, sounds, feelings, and smells have always been connected. Like when a certain instrument plays I think of a certain color and sometimes a smell and of course a feeling. And when I see a color a certain song or feeling will come to mind.
