Beauty
What if the world
Stood hand in hand?
Refusing to fight,
But making a stand.

Hoping for triumph,
Though our hearts hesitate.
A better world
Will not come by fate.

I hope the world joins me
Though now I'm alone.
Will they follow my dream
After my strength is shown?

My angels beside me,
Helping me choose
Which path I'm taking
And which tool to use.

They give me advice
To help me along.
Guiding my way
To help me be strong.

If I'm to join and be one with all,
I must learn how it feels to love.
Alone, by myself, I will surely fall;
Never reaching the world I dream of.

But to love another
I first must love me.
I need to uncover
Some integrity.

Then the world will quickly come;
Peace shining for all to see.
The impossible will be done,
The world will have Unity.

Keep writing! You don't get good overnight; it takes time and effort I'm getting my confidence up to posting my song submission. Maybe, today or tomorrow? The admission I was paranoid about putting it out there really helped. Finally, I'm excited to get some feedback!! So, keep writing and remind us how you're doing every so often

Just work hard. I've been writing for a long time. And I used to be TERRIBLE until just two years ago, and even then I was pretty bad. I'm sure that for how long I've been writing I should be much better than I am. But I guess I've never received feedback until then, so it just shows how much criticism helps.
