Re: Are you fluent in another language?
At school I've studied English, Russian, Finnish and Latin.
I've tried to study on my own: Welsh , Spanish and also Finnish.
I'm only fluent in Estonian In Latin I can name muscles and other anatomical elements I'm studying something in the medical field so...
My Russian - sucks! But I can understand somewhat and also construct some sentences that make sense!

Re: Are you fluent in another language?
Just English! I'm boring
I took some French and Japanese in school but it's hard for me to remember anything because I don't use them everyday. I miss knowing other languages. They're fun.
Cool Sorry, offtopic, but what are you studying? I'm just curious because I kind of am too!

Re: Are you fluent in another language?
I only know English. I can hardly remember any French, definitely not enough to use it practically, and I last learned German 5 years ago, so that's almost completely gone. Thanks to Mimi and Kerli, I know a smattering of Estonian xD
Apparently I want to learn some of the most difficult languages: Japanese, Estonian and Irish. But if I ever have enough free time, I'm going to give them a shot xD

^ DO IT!
Actually Japanese is, at least, really easy to pronounce. Easier than French anyway.

Re: Are you fluent in another language?
French is a bit too hard for school, it should be something easier like german.
I actually found this awesome site where you take courses in learning a specific language it's called Livemocha and I'm currently doing German, French and Estonian mainly french since it is the current language I am learning at school.
You get feedback from the language your learning by native or fluent speakers.

Oh, and you can learn Estonian and Japanese on that website! Thanks for sharing this. Using that site looks like more fun than learning languages at school >=D I was quite good at French, I got a B at GCSE level, but I'm not all that bothered about learning it. There are several more exciting and beautiful languages I think.

me too, I'm an A student in French. I'm not really bothered in learning it either, I prefer Estonian or German. I think both languages are beautiful. And your welcome :] I thought it will come in handy for people who wants to learn a language, I know a few people here wants to learn Estonian.

Re: Are you fluent in another language?
Fluently, I speak Finnish and English :D
I also understand Estonian a bit because of Finnish.
I can speak Swedish, too, but I'm not that good at it. At least I can write a simple essay and I know how the words are bent. And because I know Swedish, I can understand Norwegian a bit.
I understand German, I can translate text if I have a dictionary and my pronunciation is good. But again, I know how the words are bent and I know the order of words in a sentence, but I can't form sentences on my own, only simple ones xD I'm sure I'd be OK in Germany with my skillz.
Then I can say "I don't understand" and "I don't speak Russian" in Russian :DD And "thank you"! A distant Russian relative taught them once.
And of course, I know some words from Latin, Japanese and Spanish.
