What language would you choose?

If you had an opportunity to speak fluently one more language (that you can't speak yet), what would you choose? Please mention what is your mother language as well.

1. My mother language is Estonian. Plus I can manage English and Russian quite well.
Soooo....I'd choose Swedish language.

My parents are both english, but my mother side is polish my father is welsh.
Out of the two I would learn welsh because it sounds a bit like an elvish language

I pick Estonian :] its very pretty :]

I only know English and a bit of Maori but I'm not too sure whether I'd learn Estonian (soo pretty!!) or Gaelic to honour my ancestors

my mother's is language is "estonian" .I would pic swedish has well cuz my mother lived there before she came to canada..

My mother tounge is Estonian. There are many languages I want to learn: French, Spanish, Finnish, Italian...and many more

But if I had to choose one it would be Welsh and I don't even know why

Welsh is actually English, isn't it. Or you mean that gaelic?

No...Welsh is a completely different language. It is spoken in Wales and some areas around it..

There is only 3 types of Gaelic: Irish, Scottish and Manx. Welsh is part of the Brythonic branch. However, both Brythonic and Gaelic branches are Celtic

My native language is English, but I'd love to be fluent in Finnish

My mother tongue is Kurdish, but can't speak it fluently because I always speak Norwegian . I manage to speak English very well, I think. Right now I'm learning German, but I would love to learn to speak Japanese, Estonian , Chinese and Arabic fluently ^^,

My mother language is Finnish and i speak English pretty well and bit of Swedish.
I would love to learn German, or Estonian. Also Sami because of my roots.

I would love to learn french.

I would die to learn Estonian. Not really though.

I speak English, but seeing as I'm two-thirds Irish I would love to be fluent in Gaelic Irish. It's such a beautiful language, another fairylike one like Finnish or Estonian, and I love the Irish accent too ^^

i speak English, and i know a few simple words and phrases in Finnish but i would love to learn more of it(:

I like manly german accents, I don't know why though >-< I always like the accent.

German. With out a doubt German. It would so amazing. I love that language and it would be so easy to understand everything. I'm always having a hard time understanding things, since translators aren't that great.

I would like to speak FLUENTLY English. I think I am getting better though for being in this forum. I am try to improve

BUT I would also like to speak Portuguese or Swedish or Estonian

Thanks a lot, I might ask sometime. Translators are good but sometimes they drive me crazy because the English is a little to broken for me to try and make sense of it.

German. I understand French a bit but German is a bit harder to me.

i'd say german but since i'm getting much better on it at least last time i went there i was able to speak it *claudia's happy* i'll choose Japanese ^^

i think estonian is really pretty! it has that latin sound to it

My grandmother spoke french, my grandfather english.. my mom both, but my dad speaks spanish ... my mother tongue is spanish, but I'm learning French and english and helps me because in the school never take and I'm learning english here and my mom taught me what little he remembers ..

I'm just surprised how many people here want to learn german ^^ ...wanted to say that ^^

My mother language is german... I live here like forever and my parents only speak german too xD I would say I'm good in english too....but I want to learn more....and really not to forget what I already learned =( Because here I'm not able to speak english with everyone (they don't speak a word of it or are not interested in it). I just recognized how fast you forget things if you don't speak.

My first language is English, and I can get by in Spanish. My mom is fluent in Spanish because she lived in Chile and Spain, and she has a Spanish accent which I have picked up.

So, I'd love to be fluent in Spanish.... but there are sooo many languages I'd love to learn.
I love Romanian to death. It's soo beautiful to me. I can say some things. I went to Romania a couple of years ago and there was a lot of immersion. I'd also love to learn Russian, because the Cyrillic alphabet just twists my brain even worse than other Asian alphabets. I also want to learn German, but it doesn't sound right when I speak it.

Above all else, though, if I could I would become fluent in Latin. Simply because it would make other languages so easy to learn.

I really love English and I must admit that I can speak it well for my age. I wanna know Germany better. I learn it 6 and a half years but I'm still not good at it. And I wanna know speak France, I think that it is such beautiful language

^French really is such a beautiful language. I want to learn it too. I can kind of read it.

Honestly I want to learn Tolkien's Elvish but I'd never get to use it

^I used to study that then I got lazy lol. I really really want to speak that language.

I would LOVE to learn to speak Norwegian fluently, though. It's a beautiful language.

Honestly, I'd LOVE to learn as many languages as humanly possible. I love languages. I'm not biased (okay, well maybe I'm a LITTLE biased against French, but I would still learn it given the opportunity.) I can kinda get by in German because I've been taking in school for the past two years. Next year I'm taking Spanish AND German. I already know quite a few Spanish words. And I'm trying to learn Esperanto online.

But if I had to choose a language...... For some reason Eastern Europe has always enchanted me. So I would probably pick Romanian or Estonian.
Irish Gaelic would be cool too because both sides of my family can trace back to Ireland. A Native American language would be cool too. Navajo or Cherokee. Probably Cherokee since I'm part Cherokee...... Okay I'm going to stop here. I could go on forever.

both my parents speak english as do I but my mother is mexican and most of her family speaks spanish. My father is native american mixed with some german. So spanish would be practical for me to learn but I would love to speak german or maybe russian. And even though it's not a real language I would LOVE to learn elvish(from the Lord of the Rings movies).

I'm another Swedish Moonchild, so my mother language is Swedish of course. And I speak English fluently, but with a huge accent.

I'd love to learn Korean.

I would love to learn Korean as well.
And I really want to learn Japanese and Turkish as well. I'm currently learning German and I know English good enough to communicate with people.
My mother tongue is Kurdish, but I was born in Norway, so I have like 2 mother tongues.
