Kerli was just announced as one of the 20 finalist on Eesti Laul with a song called Spirit Animal. The writers are her and Brian Ziff.

So excited!!!!!!!!!!! Very Happy

By the song writers and performers names I can already tell it's going to be the toughest year yet. She's probably going to have a lot of competition from Elina Born, Liis Lemsalu, Laura Prits, Laura and Koit Toome, Daniel Levi, Rasmus Rändvee and Lenna Kuurmaa. Wow, I just realised h o w tough it's gonna be. I wouldn't get my hopes up too much, although one of the jury members said Kerli "surprised" him.

First semi final songs are revealed on the 8th of Dec and second semi final on the 15th. We don't know which one is hers yet.

Lol the lyrics certainly are...unique xD But I actually kinda like it. Her voice is a little weird and hard to understand, but I think it's catchy. Not sure how well it'd do on Eurovision though, unless she paired it with some amazing visuals.

*whispers* The song has been leaking on & off all day on VK. It's coming out tomorrow so it's not bad to talk about it now, right?

1) She really needs to revise her team. Even I'm getting frustrated with everything leaking.

2) Interesting song, but I would've expected something "bigger" from her for Eurovision. I think I was expecting a little too much, but I have no doubt that she will only lift the song with the live visuals and vocals.....Although, talking about vocals. It's not a very clever move to get some super processed vocals on the radio that u will never be able to imitate to a 100% live...

Not really a fan of the processed vocals either. I know Kerli is proud that she edits her own vocals, but I feel like she uses too many effects, and it makes her sound more generic than unique. Her natural voice is so much better.

I wonder if this song stands a chance against Elina & Lenna/ other favorites.

I personally like this one although Lenna's song is better (all things considered). I don't know, there is something very appealing when it comes to Ariadne's song.

And Spirit animal was unfortunately very disapointing for me. Sad

Same here. I was really excited about the visuals and theme, but the music itself felt like it was lacking the soul that her previous songs lately have had. It feels very poppy and it's not really what I was expecting. =/

Hey cuties. Does anyone knows what's up with Kerli and Brian? They aren't following eachother on instagram anymore Sad and Kerli did talk about "cleansing herself from past lovers" on her YouTube channel. Her pinterest is full of getting over somebody quotes... I think they might have been together and broken up. Don't mean to intrude on her personal life, but he was a big part of her life and we got to see their relationship from afar. Sad
