Amy Lee - Evanescence

Besides Kerli another favorite artist of mine is Amy Lee, some of my favorite songs from her include Taking Over Me (played over 4300 times on my ipod Shocked

) Together Again, Tourniquet, too many I just love her albums. Her lyrics are very deep once you actually listen to them.

I use to be really into Evanescence when I was younger. But it's not much of a band anymore. Amy Lee might as well just do something solo ^^;

Their two official releases are "Fallen" and "The Open Door". There is also "Origin", but I'm not sure if it was ever considered an official release or just demo. And then they have a bunch of other demos under albums of various names (like "Sound Asleep EP", "Evanescence EP", "Not For Your Ears", etc.)

Edit- Oh, also "Anywhere But Home". But it's live and not their best performance at all! D:

I read that Amy Lee wrote "Hello" for her sister that died and when I was listening to it for the first time, I was crying Crying or Very sad

I prefer My Immortal to Hello though. Even though My Immortal isn't about anyone ^^; But it's still so emotional. I like My Last Breath and Breathe No More too.

Evanescence is my favourite band of all time . Always has since I was a baby always will be .

I love Evanescence/Amy Lee! I have "Sally's Song" off of The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack sung by Amy, and it is so beautiful. <3

Same =/ I listened to them a lot when I was depressed too. But now I'm over that stage and don't listen to them much anymore.

I love Evanescence! I remember when I was really young my mom would play their first cd non stop. It drove me completely nuts! To this day I can't listen to their older cd twice in a row.. it drives me crazy.

I saw them at my first concert ever, it was amazing. I had that feeling when I first saw her walk on stage I thought "Wow, she's actually here. In person.. she's not pixels anymore!" and I was so excited. It was the first time I was ever close to someone so famous so I was buggin' out. XD I was in charge of taking picture and she bent over while singing and I snapped the picture the wrong time, so my mom has a picture of Amy Lee's butt LOL. I kept it for giggles. Razz

I was a fan of Evanescence.I really really really loved that cd. I used to play it a whole lot back in my early 20s.I was going threw some bad depressed day's...That cd is so darn depressing..So i can't really play it anymore either. Just reminds me when i was so sad tooo...I mean to play that cd i have to be very sad.
