Adam's Blog
I have been wanting to make one of these for a while, and it's summer and i'm super board so why not. I promise not to spam you.
I'm Adam. Hi. I have been on the table of Love for about 9 months, even though i have been a fan of Kerli and known about the TOL for awhile. I love it here, and I love all of you!
So ya, Thursday is my birthday (the big 16 ) i'm exited for it but i promise not to cram it down your throats or anything. that night i will be going back to Louisiana since about 3 years. I love it there, all of my family from my Mom's side are there, and being there make me feel at home again. it's like a giant party.
I super damn worried though, tomorrow i have this meeting with my school about my progression in the IB program (some big scholar program that's international)( and who the hell stills stays at school 2 weeks after it's done to talk to some kids parents, what the fuck) So anyway, this past year, i haven't been trying as hard, and it's reflecting in my grades, not that i'm failing, but i'm not doing my best. It's really been hitting my self esteem. a C- is a punch is the face. So they want to talk, i'm scared they might kick me out, no out of High school, just out of the program. That can't happen. I'm super serious. They probably will just tell me to try harder or some shit, and believe me, i know. i feel ashamed in they way things went this year, i want next year to be a fresh start. So if i'm not online for the next month, it's because my mom got mad at all this lol.
(watch me getting worried for nothing and they just wanted to give me some dumb ass packet)
so ya, sorry for the load.

Re: Adam's Blog
thank you guys so much! i really feel the love here <3
and by the way, i got back from that meeting at school, and it was nothing to worry about. i just need to try harder. But they did say i did better then they thought, and that i passed all my exams with A's or B's! so that burden i have had these past few days for this meeting is finally gone. my mom is happy. good.

Re: Adam's Blog
thank you all again for all of the amazing birthday wishes <3 i can honestly say that this years has been the best EVER. i really meant a lot.
I left this morning at 4am to head out to Louisiana, by car. 600 miles 0.0
but i love it. long car rides are always fun, so much to see, and i think roughing it with nothing to do but sit in a car once in a while is good for yourself. Having nothing for awhile make you appreciate all the things you have once you get them back.
I arrived safely, just sitting here with my family. i can't wait for this week to come. I may not be on for a while, so i just want to say i'll miss you guys and the ToL if i can't be on!

Re: Adam's Blog
I'm back from my vacation! it was a lot of fun. so far this summer was one of the best of my life The trip there was smooth, lots to see, i really like long car rides.
My birthday was very fun, but i will always forever site The day after (June 22, 2012) to be the best day of my life. It was already great, just the fact that i got to see my family again after awhile, but on top of that i got to say "Hi" to Kellu, and my family threw me this really cool birthday part, and told me we were going to New Orleans.
So ya, here's all the stuff i did and pictures i took from Nola.
Alley Art
i made my family stop down this alley next to the Jefferson Garden where a bunch of people were just like painting on the street in front of this really old historic building, and then put there art up for sale. It was beautiful and dark, but expensive as hell. 70 USD for a painted picture of Jennifer Aniston, i'll pass.
Clarity and Confusion. Me Gusta
i think its so amazing how big cities like this work. So many artist just able to be free and make whatever the hell they want, so beautiful and ametuer, but beautiful. Every one was so nice there. It was different for me, i live in a very mixed area (i don't mean race, i mean like people from all over, so where i stayed had this really sweet hometown mom and pop feel. nice. very nice.
In the city were a ton of the Robo-Automatons performing.
^this guy didn't move for 15 minutes. he even held conversations without moving his lips. pretty boss.
After the art stuff, we went to the french market to go shopping for random things.
:O moonmarks
We then just went around the area, going into random shops and landmarks.
Le City
Cathedral
Joan of Arc
Jefferson
Voodoo shops. *tears*
some shrines to so magic african goddess.
Stopped at the Riverwalk Mall. couldn't find the elevator, so went the escalator. Thugg Life yo.
I'm such a photographer
So that's all. I had a great time. and i tried Sushi for the first time, yum.
the car ride home was horrible, and the utter worst day of my life. (funny how the best and worst are in the same week, right?) 30 minutes in we got a flat tire, and waited 5 hours for it to get fixed. we had to stop a lot, and parked in some motel 6 parking lot so my mom could nap because she was the only one able to drive.
i'm just glad i'm home

Re: Adam's Blog
I just got my scedule in for school! I'm very pleased with it, i have a lot of good classes, and i'm really exited. I'm taking art, and by the first day of school we need 2 works created by ourselves.
I finished one today, it's a recreation of Rose by Mark Ryden.
it didn't come out quite as i liked, but i wanted it to look more human like so it's a but different.
Hope you guys like it

O.o not how you liked and more human like...if it was anymore human like it would be breathing ((and that would scare me)) i would be soooo pleased if mine looked anything like that ((hell a simple stick figure that is actually straight would work also))Aduhm wrote:I just got my scedule in for school! Re: Adam's Blog
Here's my experience at the Marina/ Icona Pop concert!
I got to the Beacham at about 5 o’clock. I still hadn't gotten my ticket, I was planning on paying 30 bucks at the door to get one then. We asked one of the workers who was supervising the line and handed out admission bracelets out front where to get the tickets.. He said that the concert was old out. my hear dropped. He pulled out a ticket from his pocket and gave it to me and said "i have an extra, merry Christmas i guess" and then he walked away before i could even pay him. to be honest i think he may have been an angel,
At 6, a guy came up to me and my friend, and told me to follow him. He let me into the venue first, i skipped about 300 people (i'm guessing it was because of my dissability.) so i was one of the first in, it was fucking great. Inside, i was front row, 2 feet from the stage.
Here's a shot of the stage.
After 45 minutes Icona Pop opened. they were fantastic. During they’re second to the last song, (Good For You, i think) Caroline Hjelt started sing the bridge to me. She got on her knees and sang the entire bridge to me (it was a love song ^-^). Everybody was starting at me and my friend was screaming. She blew me a kiss. I didn't get great pictures of their perfomance, i only got one semi-decent one of her singing to me taked by my friend from behind.
I got home and posted on Icona Pops facebook wall, letting them know they were great and who i was and how they basically made my life.
and they replied!
My dad used to be a radio dj, and one of his good friends works in the music business. A few days ago, my dad told me he would call him up to see if he could get me anything, but i didn't take it to seriously, i doubted anything would happen, seeing asd how my dads friend is int he rock and alternative side of the industry, and Marina is more pop. During the concert, he texted me to tell me that one of the venue owners got a poster and got Marina to sign it for me. He came up to me and handed it to me and it was perfect. it has my name on it and she signed it and ugh. Marina was great and so cute. For a first concert it was definitely the best night of my life.
Here's the best shot i got of Marina.
Tonight was seriously one of the best nights of my life. Everything was so perfect, i have no idea how i got so lucky, but i can only be grateful.
I will remember this day until i die <3
