it was really nice looking at the presents everyone got, and seeing how much everyone liked and appreciated them. i'd like to do it this year.

Definitely start earlier, I was very late with my idea this time! But I thought I'd present it to you guys anyway, because I didn't care if I got my present after Christmas.

I want to do a summer gift exchange as well. I have this image in my head that all the present would be happy and colorful ^^

But if we won't do it in the summer, we will do it on Christmas. Every year from now on xD

Also, I'm very sorry for those whose gifts got lost, it makes me sad as well :'(
But it's not your fault, you did nothing wrong. It's the post office's fault, they should handle people's packages better... But sometimes these things happen :/

could we do 2 gift exchanges a year, summer and winter? or is that to much?

I wanna do this! I love the idea of a summer and winter gift exchange! And if some people are worried maybe they could spring the extra money for tracking of their package. That way hopefully it will be less likely to get lost!

it was a great experience and i'm telling you, it's not a big deal i mean financially, i sen mine to sweden and cost me about 3-4 €...it was really cheap.. and i'm in for summer too.. can't wait..

-Everyone participating should be fine with letting their addresses be known by two people here; the person collecting the information and doing the mix-up (mimi), and the sender.

Reply with something like this:

To let us know where you're from and where you can send your gift to. If you can only send to your own country or to Europe for example, it can be arranged so that you get the recipient of your gift near you.

-You can also report as a recipient only, if you have a situation where you can't send a gift right now, but would like to be a part of this anyway. It may sound selfish, but it's really not; you can probably send a gift next time ^^ Then reply with something like:

"I want to participate as a recipient! I live in ________"

It's important you tell where you live; reason stated before :P

-As we've learned from before, some gifts may get lost on the way, so be prepared for that... But most of them arrive safely.

-What to send? Anything you want; you can buy something or make your gift with your own hands, like many have done before. You can also include cards, drawings and letters if you want!

-When you receive your gift, you can post a picture of it on this thread so others can see what you got! And also to let your sender know you've received your gift :)

i am still waiting on 3 addresses.. i have sent private messages out but i will send out the addresses tomorrow no matter what.

Also - i know its annoying to keep sending me your address if you've given it to me 3 times already but i dont keep the addresses for privacy reasons. all the emails are deleted and the pieces of papers are destroyed. that's the reason why I keep asking for your full names and addresses, also it makes it easier for me because then i can just copy and paste the details rather than typing them all out separately.

okay, some things have changed a little since the summer so...
i like lace, ribbon, necklaces, bracelets, rings etc, bubblegoth, things that are a little creepy, and i love movie-inspired things; and my favourite movies are the batman trilogy, kick-ass and donnie darko. i like lots of colours - blue, purple, green, red, black, white, pink...the list could go on and on!

I'm well I like anything that isn't trying to harm or kill me. I'm apparently the most chill person ever and am super easy to please, like seriously you could send me an envelop filled with glitter and I'd be happy

I enjoy practicing Wicca, I have a strong connection with faeries and I'm a nature lover. I like anything Gothic (so any accessories or jewellery along those lines would be great, as I'm gathering stuff for my Goth wardrobe at the moment - just in case, my earlobes, bellybutton and rook are pierced) and my favourite colours to wear are purple, black, blue, pink and green. I also have a fondness for gadgets and shimmery or sparkly things, and I like quirky and unusual stuff in general.
