OPINIONS & GUIDANCE GUYS!!

Hi everyone . i'm currently studying A-level textiles (fashion) and the theme i have choosen is BubbleGoth my breif is to create a version of this style for a photoshoot later but i have also stated that i have to have input from fellow moonchildren. so i'm just wondering if you guys would like to be involved in my research? if you do could u possibly post any comments like 'must haves' and 'things to consider' in here. and maybe add my facebook page it would be such a great help https://www.facebook.com/clockworkdaisy. if this doesnt work i'm sure searching 'clockwork daisy' will. sorry for the essay but i am completely knew to all of this. so thanks for your time hopefully i'll see more progress over faccey and i'll be able to create something worth while

well welcome first of all...I'm a fashion freak..haute couture rulzzz!!! so for bubblegoth you should combine things that are in fashion right now, but also different and punk...Like Vivienne Westwood spring collection 2012. check this out..is awesome. Fabrics and materials such as leather, lace and plastic, black,and nude colours, really high heel shoes and of course hair accessories like hats and oversized bows <3

ohhhhhhhhhh I almost forgot! TUTUUUUUUUUUUUUU.. <3 and gloves. and oversized, vintage jewelery... hey, when you do it, you should show it to us! can't wait! good luck!

I tried my best to write down what I was thinking about:

- Combination of Black and pastels or rainbow-colours
- Glitter...I was thinking about colourful, shiny blood
- Lace, leather, satin - the combination of hard and soft
- Necklaces, Bracelets, ... with metal spiked on it but also pretty diamonds
- Current trends with some old stuff
- Gloves
- Bows

I'm glad we helped...As far as I'm concerned you can quote anything you want. About the colours, my favourite combinations are black and pink, black and white, and black with nude, you know, skin colour.
Here are some pieces I think are kinda necessary...

I prefer something like a swimmsuit. You know leotard which makes it more fashionable.. something like this?

yeah, i really love this kind of clothing. Not for me of course but for an artist (like Kerli) or a fashion shoot ar a magazine, i find it ideal..I really think it combines fashion, feminism and sexy...

yeah i totally agree it grabs attention and looks amazing!

okay people what do you think of 'wonderland' as a theme. i know its a theme thats been used many times but i find it so facinating and i think it works really well with the BubbleGoth style. yes? no? any other suggestions you'd like to put forward? <3

hey guys little question for you. from a survey i was required to carry out on the street (after deciding wonderland as a general theme) i asked which character people feel is most controvercial? and the winner was the hatter. (i know the wonderland thing has been done before i just feel it is so fitting to the style itself. plus i am a big fan of lewi carols book:)) when this was stated i though of brown and pink as a colour scheme as apose to black and pink. i just feel brown is a little more neutral and it hasnt been done 1000 times. what do you guys think? of course the garment is still unusual and i plan to include some adapted megaplatform shoes and also hair accesories and such... i have some pictures but i have no idea how to attatch them lol :/ im such a technophobe. i'm planning on cutting out my pattern soon so i need to decide on my material thanks for any feedback again guys im so greatful <3
