Estonia- school project

Guys, I have a big project.
I have to write an essay, make poster and a multimedia presentation.

Topic: Turist values of Estonia

I wanted Estonia because I know many about other countries in Europe.
And I'll say it first (4.12). I wanted this day because next will be during exams.
I must put things which are reason that tourists go to Estonia.


I'll write about:
a. Natural:
- phenoma of natural
- lake
-etc

b. Architecture:
-the most important monuments
- anthropogenic values

c. Others:
- tradition
- cuisine
-valid events

I’ll put photos and videos (I hope that from YouTube)

I want to ask persons from Estonia if know any links to good web site about Estonia. I don’t know where I can search ,,, please...

I've actually done a project of Estonia for Enrichment class.

You could add in the Estonia's white nights for nature phenomen. I seen pictures and it's beautiful <3

well at the moment, Tallinn is the cultural capital of europe so we've got a lot of events going on that tourists are finding interesting.
tallinn's old town is something that every tourist goes to see because it has cobbles and its nothing like the rest of the city.

lately we've started to have visitors from all over the world. when i was at home for the summer, i saw asians, africans, spanish, swedish, finnish of course etc. its getting more popular - partly because of the big white sandy beaches so its very popular for people who want to go to the beach.

ill try to browse the internet as well and see if i can find any good sites for u.

Lol when I was in 5th grade (2008) I had a project about Estionia in school. I didn't know anything about Kerli or that she was estonian.
There was like 7 countries and I had to pick one and I took Estonia
One year later I found my favorite artist of all time. And I was like, hey she's estonian!

our country has islands where people live on I don't know why most of the tourists always mention that. probably because most of the European countries don't have islands at all.
and our spa's are much loved

we have almost 4 months where it's almost all the time too dark
and 4 months where it's almost all the time too light - polar days, polar nights. in the end of June, beginning of July.

we have 1500 lakes, 7000 rivers and brooks. and lots of forest- 51% is covered with forests.

we have some cool traditions as well.

this is one of the biggest tradition and event with Christmas day.

I am an Estonian as well. I quickly read what Liisu and mimi wrote and didn't notice that they have mentioned manors (maybe they have, then sorry ^^' my bad). Anyway, we have quite a lot of manors from post-medieval to pre-rebublic era (I didn't know how to say it better). Nowadays we have no landlords living in those manors (at least I haven't heard they are), because of the land reform in 1919, when goverment took the lands from Baltic nobitity. (Read more here. Anyway they left nice manor bulding.^^ (You should check manors like, Ungru, Vasalemma, Palamuse...again more info here) Many of those manors buildings are used as schools now, like Vasalemma (I used to studied there before I went to high school), Ruila, Hüüru (if I'm correct).
Oh, and we have cool artist called Navitrolla, you should definitely chech his work. He just one of the most famous here, but I think Estonia is full of awesome artist, they aren't just famous enough.
You should read "Minu Eesti" by Justin Petrone (he's a Italian man, who lives in Estonia and writes about it), but I'm not sure is it translated to other languages. ^^' Oh, you can search exchange students' and students' from aboard, who came to study in Estonian's universitys, blogs, so you would have some kind of view how other people see Estonians and Estonia.
