i was overly excited by the fact that kerli was like 'you're the best, brazilian moonchildren' and that they are the most active? if there are no generals etc then every moonchild/fan should be on the same level and there shouldn't be a divide on who's 'the most' active etc.

^ That I agree. But stating "who's the best" is gonna cause fan jealousy and clashes (I personally don't care). So regardless something may happen. I've seen the ugliness of fan division and their fan leaders handpicked by artists "Generals/"White Knights/Princesses" going out of control. But now since an idea is up in the air, it's only a matter of time, but that depends on the fans attitude and how much they care about it.

I agree with Mimi, I'm getting a little tired of the Brazilian Moonchildren always trying to act like they're the best and trying to put themselves on some sort of heirachy -.-; (And I don't mean to generalize all the fans from Brazil, but I think you all know the fans I'm referring to).

@Ragdoll- I hope it's just a fad that will end soon. Just like those people that wanted to be called those ridiculous names...what was it? Alpha Kawaii Moonchildren or something? xD

but this is 5 the biggest country in the world and they have easy promote her..
All her fans do so many for her but e.g. on Twitter, of Formspring the most active are Brazilians... and maybe this is reason...

and I read because I can't see video that she play to MariMoon her new single. And MariMoon will her help with concert in Sao Paulo or something similar.

for me every MoonChildren is the same person..... we should have equal rights..
and for me this isn't important if I hear thank you.... I don't support her for it. I support Kerli because I want to help her in Poland.. I'll do so many things how I'll can... often I feel ashamed that I can't more... And I wanna give her Polish fans a little about her... now you see I don't have money to do contest... well, I thought about interview with Kerli, because often I think what I can do for her fans.. and all weekend I worked about it... 20 person gave me questions.... I do what I can for her and fans.. only important for me is her happiness and fans.....

@Lilee - Oh god those names >.< XD But yeah I hope so. If it does happen, I know better to run,hide or ignore from that. The battle goes on forever and I will eventually get turned off by the artist.

It's nice for fans to have credit though. The entitlement annoys me, especially when it goes to one's mind too much. Words are powerful.

For some reason with many artists, Brazil and Mexico are the "best fans" probably because of how they are in numbers. I mean yay for them, but I don't need to know that every single minute and leave everyone out. I don't care who's the best, I don't care if my own country is on that list. Fans everywhere are trying just as hard everyone else. Artists sometimes seems to forget that.

Ok well I hate to be a bitch but people are losing the concept of I.L.U. we don't just say it for our health. The UNITY part of it means everyone coming together as ONE. NO best, 2nd best, alpha, general, beta bullshit. So if you really think you are better than anyone on this site or anywhere for that matter then you seriously need a reality check. I'm so sick and tired of all the fighting. And Mimi your right if anyone needs to be thanked its people like you, Nat, Meko, Tyler, ect.(sorry if I forgot anyone) Y'all have done so much for not only kerli but the moonchild community. Plus if you think about it sure Brazil does a lot of promoting and everything but so does everyone else! I don't know about y'all but i always request kerli on the radio but here its so much harder to get her on it with all of the other artists here. I hate to say it but we are starting to turn into the average street team. Some people really need to remember what were all about. I mean Ive been a kerli fan since before walking on air was released and every time I feel I'm losing the concept of I.L.U. I agree. We need to promote I.L.U. and we can't do that by arguing OR saying any person or group doesn't deserve credit. I honor Intergrity, Love, and Unity and I try to be the best person I can be everyday. I don't think I deserve thanks for that. My thanks comes at the end of the day when I'm proud of who I am. I participate in Kerli's missions. I don't deserve a handwritten thank you card for that either. I do it because I want Kerli to suceed. Kerli thanks us all and shows us all her appreciation by actually giving a shit about her MoonChildren. She spends two hours a day answering our questions on Formspring, she does tutorials, she set up iamamoonchild.net, she does live chats, the Iced Coffee thing! She makes us(or at least me) feel heard. I've never seen an artist so in touch with their fans. That's my thanks.

Honestly, I've not watched that video all the way. Half and hour video and so much of it in a language I do not know is just too much for my attention span. But I honestly don't think she meant that the Brazilian MoonChildren are the best and all other MoonChildren are beneath them. I think it was more of a "good job" "way to go" or "keep up the good work" and it seemed more targeted to Brazil so of course she would address them specifically.
As far as Brazilian fans always being so active as far as I know Brazilian fans are like that no matter the artist, from Kerli to Iron Maiden. And good for them, must be great to be that passionate. Or maybe it's the heat, I don't know...

ok.. maybe i misunderstood. but we have this saying in estonia (not sure if its the same in english) and it goes like 'whats on your tongue is on your mind' and she did say that 'and they're the best' at first and then realised what she had said. but anyway, i agree with u all - we get thanked by being in contact with her so much and often. but because moonchildren are a sensitive bunch.. i think sometimes the way you say things should be well thought through.

Agreed. c: I think the core of ILU is respecting others... And if we think we're the best then we're only respecting ourselves. The people who could have actually earned a "rank" if we had them are too humble to really want one. Kerli already rewards us with her handcrafts and music and kind words. It's about Kerli and ILU, not us.

I'm 100% sure she cares about all of us. Although she might direct all her love to U.S, Brazil etc atm but i hope that isn't permanent. Some of her oldest and most active and caring fans are from Europe.
I think it's all about the promo, she has better possibilities to sell in those places i suppose. It should not be so, but well, she has made it clear that she wants to perform in arenas and that's way easier in Brazil than here for example.

I love her, but i might not agree with her current priorities.

I think we all need to understand her....now she wants to grow in the music industry and have succeed in america, because of that, she needs to gain more and more fans there, and saying those kind of things are going to make the fans happier and she's gonna have more...it's all about promotion.i don't doubt she says it from the heart because the brazilian fans have made a lot for her....well that's how i feel, i don't think she really thinks that some moonchildren are better than others, 'cause she had say we are all the same...of course i believe that all moonchildren are the same...and put labels on us is not going to be good....especially when there are a lot of moonchildren who really try to promote her on their city,, like the people you have already mentioned..mimi, natt, meko, etc....I know she knows what a lot of people do for her

Yeah, I haven't watched the whole thing either, but I was going to say something like that..like, doesn't she say "the best" pretty often about people or things? I don't think it was meant to be taken so personally is all. But I understand why people were offended, and I wouldn't tell someone how to feel.
I think it would be cool if all the Brazil fans would join here & all participate in promoting things together with everyone & share ideas with fans in other countries & things like that.

The shitty orkut community isn't shit compared to what everyone else is doing. There's another Orkut community owned by Brazilians and it is full of hate and most people part of it know it. I mean, its not all of the people on there, but some there have called me a motherfucker, bitch, cunt (though I'm not a girl?), etc. What ever happened to ILU?
