07. Paper Snowflakes

Turn your head to the sky, feel the sun on your cheek
Dry the tears off your face, it's acceptance we seek
As the winds start to blow and grey skys overtake
We see god cut with scissors, he drops paper snowflakes
Yes we are different, we are all not the same
Different patterns and sizes, but from clouds we all came
Our dreams may be different, we may see different views
But if you look harder, you'll see im just like you :-)
Why do we argue over things we cant control
Without every snowflake, blizzards cant be a whole
Lets lie on the iceberg, let our words intertwine
Glimpse through the frost, see.. your hearts just like mine
He did not pass judgement when he cut out his shapes
There is nothing but beauty in his snowy landscapes
As paper scraps fly and they fall to the floor
We pass judgement and hate, I cant take anymore!
I may have blue hair and you may have red
Lets not laugh at eachother, take my hand.. be my friend
It's time to spread love, you aren't like any other
Please take my embrace.. wont you please be my brother?
It's harder to smile than it is to make fun
We are all made from paper so together lets run
Melt the icicle lights off your cold, unsure face
Salt the roads of your soul, enjoy lifes wonderful grace
It seems hard to guess why he made us this way
At the end of your life I can promise you'll say
That you've found your meaning and the reason we're here
Celebrate this winter, it could be your last year..
So lets come together, it is time for the fight
Time to stop pounding gavels, let us do what is right
Watching paper snow fall brings a thought to my mind
I am just one.. who is part of mankind
