Vomit's Poetry
Oh hi. I've been writing poems almost my whole little life and I'm an attention whore; I decided to put some poems here too! I hope you all enjoy reading these. Feel free to tell me what you think.
Skeleton Dreams
She's lost in her own mind,
She's a prisoner inside her head.
She can't remember the last time she laughed
Or really enjoyed her life.
She's a princess of ice,
Living in a cage of glass,
Lost in her skeleton dreams.
Everybody tells her she's beautiful,
She's perfect the way she is,
But she's the only one who can't see that,
She won't swallow those lies.
She's too weak to this,
Too tired of feeling like shit.
She wants to make this all end
And live only in her skeleton dreams.
Butterfly
There's a butterfly flying,
Flying under my skin.
Flying around and around,
Wanting to be free.
There's a butterfly crying,
Soft tears are filling my veins.
"Set me free", she's screaming,
Dreaming of a better place.
There's a butterfly dying,
Slowly, slowly fading away.
Leaving her cocoon,
Making me feel empty again.
Fading Away
She has such a big sorrow inside her
She looks at the mirror with tears in her eyes
She touches her leg, she feels she's too fat
And almost starts to cry
Her mother, her father, her sister
They're all thinner than her
Still she stands in front of the mirror
And tries to hide her tears
Slowly she's fading away
Slowly she's falling apart
So softly she's flyin like a feather
But the things won't get any better
She runs away from the mirror
She can't hide her tears
She's running, she's crying, she's dying
She's craving for perfection
She's standing in front of the mirror
She has tears in her eyes
She's feeling she's not worth any food
Her only goal is perfection
Slowly she's fading away
Slowly she's falling apart
So softly she's flyin like a feather
But the things won't get any better
She's running out the door
She feels she can't move her legs anymore
She's running, she's flying, she's fading away
And suddenly she can smile again
The Nameless One
You say you're curious
You would like to see me without my mask
You would like to get to know me better
You think everything's all right
You don't see how much you hurt me
I love you
I love your beautiful words
I love your handsome face
But I'm not ready for this
I don't want to do this now
You said you love me
I believed every single word
But if you really loved me
You wouldn't hurt me
You wouldn't do this now
You said you're a gentleman
You said you appreciate women
But you don't appreciate me
You lied all the time
It hurts me more that anything else in this world
Mental pain is more horrible than physical hurt
I blame myself for all this
I'm drowning to self-pity
I'm afraid
And I don't know what should I do
And what would I do if somebody would hear of this?
I couldn't take this anymore
My friends couldn't look me in the eyes anymore
My parents would hate me
Because I'm dirty

Re: Vomit's Poetry
These are very good. I love the expressions that come out from them and how they all just flow with the words.
