Tears of the Innocent
*Ode to Kerli, and Butterfly Cry

I'm sorry,
I see your pain,
I see the blood,
I see it stain.

The darkest tears fall,
the flower grows.
It spreads the fear
wherever it goes.

But hope is not lost,
love is still here.
Joy will come,
when the skies are clear.

The butterfly's rise,
and begin their chant.
Tears fly around
to do what they can't.

All the people
who felt their care
could feel the peace
fill the air.

Times are rough,
but they are great.
The darkest soul
can be a saint.

Rejoice the world
and love it's joy.
The world's a game;
life's a toy.

The butterfly's cry
to save the day.
To lift our hearts
in every way.

Feel the love,
forget all pain.
All will cherish
the joyful reign.

Sorrow-A collage of words.

My heart can't get the feeding,

I think about
The times we shared.
I let them out,
They make me scared.

I'd get you back
At any cost.
I'm off my track,

I wish you well
as we dream about tomorrow.

Suffer
Why do you do those things you do? Those things that are oh so painful. They kill me, destroy me, haunt me. Lies, secrets, you lost honesty.
Do you want me to regret the things I've done? Because I'm not the one who should say sorry. Sorry for your lies, your secrets.
It's all your fault, and you know it. That's your insecurity, not my problem, anymore. Like it used to be. But why?
Is it because we do not blend? But we both know that we do. I suffer without you. You suffer without me.
We were so complete, it's just one thing. Weren't you mine? Can't we forgive each other?
Won't it be better to love, as one? Just you and me. Again. Yes. It will.
Right now, we hurt everyone; we're a giant tornado of endless pain.
If we can say the word sorry, our love will be back. Finally.
Won't you love life when it's right on track? With me?
I know that I will, all the woeful suffering gone.
That's what it's like now, pain, always.
It'd be nice to love you once more.
Just like it used to be, I love it.
I love you, and always will.
We fought, we forgive.
We have no sorrow.
We have new hope,
That's without
Suffering.


One Look
Just one look at you,
and my heart simply falls.
I thought love was untrue,
but I was wrong, after-all.

You are a beauty,
because you are mine.
I can't believe you love me,
despite the others you left behind.

But I look into your eyes,
such a delicate blue.
Are they the prize
that makes me love you?

Or is it your smile,
So friendly and soft?
It stays for a while,
and takes me aloft.

Your laugh, is my guess,
such a sweet and full tone.
It is so priceless,
for it, my love's grown.

I've learned I don't care,
why our love is so deep.
'Cause our love is there,
from meeting to eternal sleep.

The Torch
Burning with ambition,
believing in no fear.
We will still behold the flame
that has gathered us all here.

We with fire instead of hearts,
to lead us on our way.
We with strength to believe
we shall rise this very day!

Desire, hope, truth, and love,
all unite as one, the same.
And this object is no other than
the one, the only flame.

The flame that holds our glory tight,
and feeds us through joy and pain.
That flame, the very thing
that oppression can never tame.

We are all one, through this flame,
united, through this fire.
The fire will lead us through the war!
This Torch we all desire!



Warmth
I look into your eyes,
when I'm feeling scared.
They seem to clear the skies,
they show the love we've shared.

I reach for your hand,
when I'm not feeling strong.
It lets me understand
I'm where I belong.

I listen to your words,
when I don't feel like me.
They lift me up like birds
and my choice, I then can see.

I fall into your arms,
when I feel confused.
When I feeling harmed,
you let me know I'm not abused.

You are needed,
to keep me alive.
And I always will believe in
the warmth that makes love thrive.


The Thoughts Trilogy

Nightmare
I close my eyes,
And fall asleep.
Around they come,
Around they creep.

They haunt my soul,
And trap my head.
The horrific scenes,
Come once again.

The mourning sobs,
The painful screams,
Every night,
In my dreams.

These haunted thoughts,
Come without control;
They're scaring me,
they scar my soul.

Now I wake up,
relieved to be free.
But I know this night,
they will be hunting me.

Dream
I lie in bed,
silent and tired.
I close my eyes,
with sleep desired.

Visions of sunshine,
joy, and love.
Places with laughter
I've always hoped of.

And that's where I am,
this paradise.
Where everything seems
to happen right.

A hug over here,
and a kiss over there.
Happiness and peace
fill the air.

This place inspires me
to be my dream.
To love all that I see,
and to reach the extreme.

Then I wake up,
my dreamy land lost.
But I will be back
at any cost.

I need that beauty,
that hope, to inspire.
I need my dreams,
they are my desire.

Daydream
I sit here alone,
I'm bored, I'm confused.
Why is no one here?
I feel forgotten and abused.

I can hear their voices saying,
we will be there soon.
But when I look at the clock,
It's an hour past noon.

But then it hits me
I don't have to be alone.
In my head there is no end,
no place I cannot go.

Here I'm locked in a dusty dungeon,
trying to break free.
And now I am a princess,
hoping a knight will come save me.

Watch out for the Rusty Bandit
That's walking around town.
Now I am walking down the aisle
in my beautiful wedding gown.

There is no limitation,
to what can, or cannot be.
My dreams: the endless boundaries,
to escape from life and be free.


Helpless
Another harsh reality,
where fear is in the air.
Tragedies are everywhere;
miracles are rare.

Everything is bad news.
Hope is the only joy.
Death is having so much fun,
with the whole world as his toy.

Peace, and life,
and joy, and love.
Is what we all
are dreaming of.

But stuck inside
this world of fear,
there isn't any
of that here.

Over here
there is a war.
Innocents lie
on the blood-soaked floor.

A child's whipped,
a country's bombed.
The world can't seem,
to get along.

One person is so helpless,
only the world can give us peace.
But if everyone can change for good,
the hatred will finally cease.


Trap
You took everything
I thought I knew,
stole my world
and made it you.

I was lost
in the world of tears;
it combined
all of my fears.

But when I found you,
you held me tight.
I thought everything
had turned out right.

But it's not,
you're a trap.
Lure me in
and then you snap.

I can't let go
of our once-shared love.
But it's clear that you
have had enough.

Wash my tears
and close my eyes.
Hold me tight
and we will fly.

Back and forth,
from love to hate.
Do I trust a kiss,
Or is it bait?

I love you,
but do you love me?
Or are you just a trap,
plain as can be?


Never Forever
My only trust,
My only fear.
Every emotion
tied in this tear.

Falling soft,
so tight, so true.
Just like the times
I spent with you.

Your hidden smiles
with shining eyes.
You sheltered me
from all of the lies.

You were my truth,
my destiny.
I was as happy
as I could be.

But present turned to past,
and the future settled in.
Our love was nothing,
but your one and only sin.

Your picture lies
in my broken frame
to show the world
I'm full of shame.

Shattered hopes and
shattered dreams.
I see you
in all my dreams.

My life is lost,
it's now or never.
Forget you.
Love's Not Forever.


Actress
Who Am I?
I'm an actress,
I dance, I sing.
I can be
anything.

Who am I
I'm a poet.
I write, I rhyme.
I write down my life
to pass the time.

Who Am I
I believe
you must be you.
No one else,
can do what you do.

But, Who Am I?
That,
I don't know.
What makes me, me?
That others can't show.

I am an actress.
I can play any role,
yet, my own, I can't.
I change so quick,
from silence to rant.

What will I do?
Will I be unknown
or go down in history?
Who am I?
To me, it's a mystery.


Simple
I have these memories,
Of those perfect melodies.
The beauty of pain,
Haunts us again
And we're lost without our remedies.

Music leaves your hand flowing,
Leaving me knowing
You're the lyrics to my song,
It was you all along,
And our love is growing.

Every note that you sing,
Makes me fly on your wings.
Your voice, so complete.
And you are so sweet,
The musical king.

The thoughts I write,
From morning to night,
Are all for you.
And all are true,
About our love and it's flight.

You take my insanities,
And turn them to realities,
All through your voice.
I'm left with no choice,
I'll love you through all calamities.

Greater love, note by note.
Disbelief, that's that what I wrote,
Through our living care,
We will not dispair.
And the music keeps us afloat.

Our simple secrets, all wrote down,
With complex tunes, rhythm, and sound.
Simply keeping us together,
Shining in the darkest weather,
Keeping our simple love abound.


Heart Attack
Burning Inside,
Feeling Alive.
You kiss her lips,
As I quietly hide.

Is this true?
Is this what I see?
It was my lips last night,
When you were with me.

I want to scream,
I want to die,
I don't want to believe
Our love was a lie.

My heart is swelling,
Pounding my chest.
Harder each time,
Not letting me rest.

My tears are refreshing,
Cooling as they fall.
My breath is short and quick,
And you hear the call.

Around the corner,
I see your face.
Covered with lipstick,
Her bloody embrace.

The world's getting fuzzy,
I'm going to faint.
My fever is rising,
The real world is restraint.

Is this the end
Of our loved fairy-tale?
Did our joyous memories
Have to fail?

As I say "Good-Bye" to you,
All my love you then take,
Thanks for giving me nightmares,
And for my Heart's Break.

A poem I just wrote about a friend of mine diagnosed with Anorexia. I call her Maxie. Not my best, but there's a secret message if you look.



Maxie
Maybe I pushed to hard,
Maybe not hard enough,
But please don't forget
You always have my love.

Amaze me once again,
Like you always do.
I fill of happiness,
With one look at you.

Xylophones to Saxophones,
Music lives in your soul.
Melodies seem to flow,
When you are in control.

If the world treats you bad,
Please just fall to me.
I'll be a shoulder to cry on,
I'll help you with ease.

Every time you need be,
A friend I will stay.
Tightly hold my hand.
You'll be okay.

How?
How do I pretend
Nothing ever happened?
How do I move on
But still keep you protected?

How do I heal your pain
When healing brings pain back?
How do I defend you
When defense is an attack?

I'd wait for you to call
Until the day I die.

My fear is escalating,

Are you afraid of the dark?

It's a dark, dark gray.

In the chilling cold night?
Or was it just the wind,
Sparking your fright.

Thanks everyone! I'll try to get more. I'm just so... busy. And there's so many things I could write about. Before I wrote one or two each day, and had little to nothing that inspired them. They just came. And now there's all these things going on and I can't write a thing. :/ Hopefully that'll change.
