Its because it is the top Dance /Club Play Song, which mean it is the #1 song played in night clubs that host live DJs.

Yeah honestly this chart does not mean much for music business. She need to get on the hot 100 or pop chart. Then she can get in radio lineups. But it is good for her to even get this.

^True, people outside of the US might not realize it but being #1 on the dance chart, while really cool, it essentially means nothing to the general public. I've never heard of like half the artist on there. I remember when La Roux's Bulletproof was #1 on the chart one winter, it ended up making it to the radio but it was the end of summer nearly 7 months later.

And I'm not trying to sound like a bitch but I realize that is how this likely to come off, but I see people saying that we played a large part of getting the song to number one. I'm not saying we didn't help a little but it was mostly the remixes and DJs. This chart is based on the number of plays it (and it's remixes) get in the club. DJ's set the playlist that they get these numbers from. Nothing else goes into this count. So the only way we influenced it was if you are a DJ or introduced a DJ to the song...
We can how ever get it onto pop/radio charts by buying it on itunes and requesting radios play it. If radios (especially the big ones) get enough request they will start playing it. Most of the big ones in the US allow you to request songs online so you don't have to be a citizen to request. We could plan to all request the song around the same time so it gets more notice or some thing like that.

I'd be willing to get in on that idea too, I'd just need a list of websites, like Mimi said. Kerli most likely needs to get big in the US before she'll be recognised in the UK, so I want her to do well on the radio over there!

I can work on making a list but I won't be able to do much until the end of the week (I have finals this week). I know Kiis FM is the big one in LA and Z100 is big in NYC. I'll have to look but I was thinking of going for stations in Chicago, Miami, and Dallas too.

KDWB is big all over isn't it? It's the biggest here in MN and Ryan Secrest hosts it in the morning, so that's big.

^Ryan Seacrest show airs everywhere but it's broadcast from KIIS FM in LA. That's really the show that we should make a huge effort at. If he plays Army of Love it will catch fire. (And I can't say I've ever heard of KDWB, it might just be big in MN)

@Spekt maybe just do the bigger states/ones with the big cities... like I'm pretty sure you could fore go most of the south (like Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, etc.) and states like Montana, Idaho, New Hampshire, etc. (seriously it'll never play in Idaho)

Idol is a different story though. (and I'm not saying count out Texas.) But name one American Idol winner you still hear on Pop radio these days. I might hear Kelly once in a while but that's it. What I meant more about count them out is people aren't going to want to go to 50 sites to request the song, make the list smaller because trends in big cities are more likely to trickle down. I mean I highly doubt we're going to start a Kerli revolution on radio by getting it played on a station in Little Rock, Arkansas...

^Kelly and Carrie are still huge names. Daughtry has songs (he didn't win, but he's still big.) But that is a good point.

Carrie's a huge name in country though, not pop. She has a country voice which is why the south likes her so much. I never hear her music on pop radio and I live in hick country.
I think we should stick to 10-15 stations in big cities at the most. I was thinking: LA, NYC, Chicago, Dallas, Miami, San Fran., Denver, Twin Cities, and Phoenix. Idk what other cities, Seattle or Portland maybe, people can be... music in the NW can be... well idk how to word this so I guess it'd be easiest to say there's a lot of pretentious hipster out there... other cities could be Indy, Toronto( yes I realize it's in Canada), Houston, Philly, Boston, Vegas, Atlanta.

i wonder how big Kerli`s fan base is? I mean those who keep up with Kerli news like once in a week or so? about 5000? We should do one day that will be advertised on all Kerli`s pages, like those for Italians an Brazilians too and just each one of us requests the song like only 5-10 times. Some 50 000 requests during one day on one station should get their attention, or not?

I dont think her fanbase is that large most people dont keep up on a regulat basis. I think the amount of people on TOL is more accurate.

I don't think the active fan base is enough to that we could get 50,000 requests. And it would be cool if the fans from Brazil would help (I know there's like a 5,000+ people fan base there), but they seem disconnected from the rest of us (seriously I talked to someone who acted like they thought Kerli didn't have any fans outside Brazil). Also I'm not sure how well all the sites work for people outside the US. I think we should advertise it and encourage as many people to request it when they have time (like I try to request army of love on z100 a few times a week)

In Poland only one radio station has Army Of Love (remix by Tony Svejda& Mixin Marc)- but this is only a local radio station but ppl can also listen to their music on Internet. I try all time with Eska, Rmf Maxxx and Planeta, when in these radio stations will be Kerli music it she will have success in Poland. Ok maybe Rmf and Radio Zet but this isn't for old people....
