After flopping on the US pop charts for the past few years, Dominican diva Kat DeLuna and Estonian singer Kerli are both finally enjoying the sweet taste of success, and it’s all thanks to the clubs.

This week, Kerli’s ‘bubble-goth’ single “Army of Love” reaches No.1 on Billboard Hot Dance/Club play chart, becoming her first single to chart anywhere in America. The song originally did nothing when it was first released, but now thanks to a handful of high-profile remixes from the likes of WaWa, Chew Fu, and Cherry Cherry Boom Boom, “Army of Love” has become an unlikely dancefloor filler.

Meanwhile, Kat DeLuna’s latest effort “Dancing Tonight” has been racing up the club charts since its release, and currently sits at No. 3. It’s not her first time there, either; “Whine Up” topped the chart back in 2007, and “Run The Show” managed to peak at No. 2.

Now, I know what you’re about to say — “Anybody can get a hit on the club charts.” That’s not entirely true. For example, Sky Ferreira “Obsession” had some incredible remixes and it only reached No.37.

The next underrated pop star hoping for a little success on the dance side of things is Natalia Kills. She originally pushed her single “Mirrors” towards the clubs when it first dropped but the DJs didn’t bite. She took another stab recently by releasing a second remix EP, and now “Mirrors” has climbed No. 34 in just two weeks.
