Sara's Stuff

Well.. I haven't written anything for ages, but here's some old ones:

Shatter
The glass smashes into a million pieces,
just like my heart shatters for you
the shatter takes just seconds
my love takes forever,
but no how much I try,
I will not give up

I don't know how I do,
I don't know what I do,
I never think of anything else
your mind in my head
together we're alive
more than ever, longer than ever,
we don't let go, there is no point.

People sit and stare,
the beauty is too bright
the envy and the horror,
to the mothers eyes,
her child is almost there.

the state of our minds,
is past bizarre,
no one knows what goes on
under the blankets, in the dark,
we'll just have to wait and see
what wonders may come through
what things may become.

Vivid images all through the day
of things we shouldn't do,
things that take, a life to fix,
and in the end we were all there,
counting it all, as nothing on earth

we'll sing ourselves to sleep
we'll laugh all through the day
side by side for 46 hours,
our love will stand,
as long as our hearts don't shatter
into a million pieces
over and over again,
on and on, we will go on.

Cat
A soggy cat on its way home
but which way is home really,
it takes the left, feels alright,
but it really knows, it should've taken the right,
the right way home,
it gets dark, it gets cold,
maybe life will stay like this,
or will it change,
change into luxury, change into happiness,
Or will it all be a dream,
wake up tomorrow, and it'll all be gone
a giant illusion, been going on for so long,
can we see through it, or will it disappear.
another fork in the road, more decisions,
decisions that could affect the life,
the life of a wet hungry cat,
a cat so lonely, it has to make all the decisions itself.
maybe we all need someone to care for us,
make us feel wanted
but there aren't enough cats in the world for that,
so off it goes, once again,
down the wrong road
a road of misery, loneliness, hatred, anger and sorrow
but then again, we can't help it.
up the steps, the steps of nothingness,
no idea how we'll find it,
just a simple staircase,
leading to death,
jump, dive, fly,
away into the sky,
finally free,
to start again, in a different life form, a different place.

I love Shatter! So amazing! Especially the verse that starts "people sit and stare."
