ARMY OF LOVE ALBUM COVER CONTEST

This is a contest for Army of Love Single Covers.

I noticed that in my iTunes, there's no available picure for Kerli's song. This is a huge problem since I like to have as many Album Covers in my iTunes as possible.

So I'm here hosting this contest.

The contest is to create an album cover concept using some kind of computer program or even a drawing or painting or some kind of art. It doesn't have to be perfect or anything, it's just a concept. I will use the winner's concept to create the actual album cover I will use and I will also change my avatar to the new album cover and use part of it as my new signature. The winner's name will be featured on the signature.

There are rules. All entries are accepted and appreciated but following these guidelines will help you win.

1. Only one Kerli can be depicted on the cover. That means no Kerli armies and no twin kerli's because we want to ground the album cover in reality at least a little bit. However this only applies to full bodies of kerli. If one is inspired by andy warhol and wants to create a series of different versions of one kerli face or something like that where the art is based around that repetition, then it's ok.

2. All art must be based on actual photos of Kerli, preferably using pictures from the army of love video or promotional images for Army of love. We want to represent the theme that she built around the video and stay with that for consistency.

3. The word's "Army of Love" and "Kerli" must be featured on the album cover and they must be big enough for someone to read them on a thumbnail sized photo. We want everyone to see it on my avatar.

4. The art work must incorporate the themes of "BubbleGoth" and "I.L.U."

5. Special attention will be payed to entries with moon marks.




THE CONTEST ENDS ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 5.

That's about two weeks.





When you enter your photo in the comments below, please include a description of the theme of your photo and what exactly you're trying to say with it. If anyone has any questions or thinks a rule should be changed or something like that, just message me and I'll see what can be done.

Remember, it's just concept art, so the winner won't necessarily be the best artist. You can even enter a picture on MS Paint with stick figures. It doesn't matter as long as the design is focused on kerli and shows all the themes in a creative way and displays the name of the song and kerli's name.

right. just one because we want to focus on kerli. and it helps focus the eye if there's just one.

In the rules, it says that you can also draw a picture or use any kind of art to make a picture as long as you can post a picture of your art on here.

and it doesn't matter what kind of art or how good it is, only that it is creative and looks like a good album cover, like what you would want to see as an album cover for "army of love"
