Clare's Blog
I'm new to 'blogging', but despite this, I feel an urgent need to express the ways in which my heart is hurting right now. Hurting for our beautiful earth and all her living creatures. I feel like I can't just talk to anyone about the extreme urgency of this feeling that I am experiencing. The bird deaths have sparked an overwhelming saddness for our planet and people. I can still function, and I still enjoy life and others. But inside, there is a sense of feeling that now is the time to be grateful for everything. Every bird, every loving hug, every smile, every drop of water, every butterfly, EVERYTHING. It is fragile. I think this is perfectly evident now as we are witnessing life die on our planet. Our automatic response other than fear should be gratitude. Don't get me wrong, it scares me, but I have to believe that now is the time for us to stand up for our world and send out love and gratitude everyday in everyway. Of course we are human, and 'have our moods and faults', but we live everyday in reverence for what we are priviliged to be a part of. To have the ability to create a more sustainable world, a more functional system, a system that's first principle is unity. We are made of the same stuff. We have the ability to be kind and peaceful. To assist those in need and make sure our planet is healthy. If the world outside suddenly became a scary place, love and unity will be required for us to overcome this. I'm not prophesizing (sp?). I don't know what is going to happen. I know the mass deaths of living creatures make me a little stunned and speachless. Does anyone else have this feeling that says now is the time to unite and live for love? Fight with love against the hurts in the world. Let go of fear and trust in the power of integrity, love, and unity. I have faith in us.

Re: Clare's Blog
I agree with you This isn't a warning, but a mere subtle vision of what would happen if we continue our destructive ways on Mother Earth. In our culture, we pray to her for her continued blessings & help when we have needed much. We use a lot of herbs, sage and a lot most people don't know about If we start hearing about water related accidents, just know those are meant to be cleansing as Water is the first medicine for all. This isn't the end of times, but a new era of change and I think we should continually to focus on what's ahead, not what's present and what may or may not come to be. Sorry, such a long post from a 36-hour away me ha!

I also pray for her continued blessings I see this as a change also. I never believed in the 'End of the World' idea, yet always had in my heart a vision of a more balanced and harmonious world. Everything is created to work in a harmonious dance, yet modern day things get in the way of this, and screw it up so to speak. Cleansing is a very comforting word and allows me to be able to focus on a brighter form of this world. Thank you for your comment:) I have been curious about Sage lately... I will have to look more into this.

You can find sage almost anywhere. Most people don't understand that Sage has a LOT more uses than smudging. Smudging is common sadly, but I won't tell what it's really used for lol. I'm not supposed to b/c people would want to adapt to our way of life more often.

I get where you're going, and I very much agree.
Re: Clare's Blog
It makes sense to me also, and I choose against living my life in fear for doomsday. I think there is alot we can do to make it a better world. I think that just more people realizing that we are living in a destructive way would do so much. Awareness feels really powerful for me. You totally made sense. It feels nice to have people out there who feel the same;)

Re: Clare's Blog
I wanted to talk about something that is very special and important to me, and where an immense amount of my passion lies in my life. I am inspired to help people. Help them feel better about themselves, their environment, and their place in it. I work with people who are affected by mental illnesses. Schizophrenia is a main condition which I see it's impact. I always am wondering about why. One main symptom is hearing voices. What puzzles and hurts me is that the voices are always mean, spiteful, demeaning, and cruel. Can you imagine to living every moment with a voice, that is not your own, in your head and not being able to quiet it? Telling you how horrible you are and possibly even to hurt yourself. The treatment of people affected by this illness has improved over the years, yet people are still disowned by their families, live in homes, and have NOONE. I cant say it any other way than it hurts my heart for these people. It could be you or me or anyone living with this, and we all deserve to be treated with care and compassion by someone. I hope I can help. I know, and I tell them that they help me too, and they do.

KerliPoland-The are awesome people:) They are people. That is my stance. People are all unique and wonderful.
Butterfly cry-I'm glad I'm not the only one out there who feels a need for change. I think sometimes we think that we can't make a difference, but even just using the Smile you were given is powerful!

LightThruDarkness-
I hope there are alot more people who really care out there....sometimes we don't see caring people...we don't see justice so we don't believe in it.
I love this quote: Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and do it. What the world needs is people who have come alive!
We can only control ourselves, and what we 'put out there'. There is more force behind love than anger. I'm learning this also, as it makes me angry to see people being hurt or mistreated. Yet, I believe people are naturally good, and when we choose to react with love we can change the world around us. I feel comforted that I am not alone in feeling like this. Your smile and compassion has way more influence than all the bad in the world. That's the way I try to think about it, to keep myself grounded and looking for what really matters in life:)

Thank You! It makes me feel good to feel like I'm not alone and just having 'pie in the sky' dreams about the way the world is. To me-it is about holding a vision of what it could be, and doing your part in whatever way you can to make it happen

Re: Clare's Blog
Kerli's chat was awesome tonight. I always am left with a feeling of refreshment and confidence after. I'm not sure that my beliefs are 'of the norm' So, this prevented me from asking my question for fear of not being understood or labeled 'weird' or 'crazy'. That's why it was so wonderful. I wanted to ask: Do you believe in the white light? Guys, have you felt your heart area all warm and fuzzy? And, have you ever imagined sending white light to others around you? It really is a wonderful feeling. My mum actually taught me the white light of protection when I was a child. Whenever you are scared (or anxious) imagine a bright white circle around you and everyone you love or who/what you are worried about. It really does help to slow the anxious and fearful thoughts. I still use it to this day:) Or for the days when you are feeling disconnected to life you can imagine white light coming down the top of your head, down your body, and out through your feet, while imagining roots holding you strong against the earth. It really is helpful. Or even just an energy boost, imagine white light pouring into the top of your head and out through your finger tips. I remember playing with this as a child and enjoying the different sensations. My mom also taught me 'Think Pink' for when you are angry and I never 'got it' till I was an adult. When you are angry you will think red in your head, and what you do is concentrate on imagining that red turn shade by shade to pink, and by the time you get to pink you are not mad anymore. It really worked, I was stunned! Also, it is sooo amazing to be able to notice you are having an emotion, pay attention to the feeling, and not react or cling to it. As they say 'Go with the flow'. It sure is much less painful! I wish I was capable of doing this ALL the time, still practicing. I know using our 'imagination' may seem a wee bit silly or nonsencical, but the same part of the brain lights up when we see a real object and when we imagine an object Kerli has so much courage to come out and speak how she does about her beliefs about things, and she does it in a way that is Tolerant of others. We should be able to believe what we believe and not let that divide us as people or build walls between us. Everyone's beliefs are their own and built from the life that they have lived. Let's spread love and light and break down the walls.

Re: Clare's Blog
I have worked with two clients and shared my thoughts about white light, and I have seen a person who used to cut herself every other day to very rarely. I'm not saying that the white light did it on it's own. lol. I really have tried to build a meaningful and encouraging relationship with her. She names her goals and then I keep her focused on her goals and help her with learning to cope in different ways.
One part is wondering about what people may think of me, and then another part is just expressing how I feel about things. I am a lot mushy gushy. I guess sensitive is the word. I have been told that I have a fluffy cloud belief about things. Or wishing in things that will never happen. Such as world peace, or that people are naturally good.
One of my college classes, the teacher asked whether we thought that people were naturally good or bad. It surprised me that over half of the class thought that people are bad. This bothered me for a few days thinking, why would people think that?

Re: Clare's Blog
We all do it. In alot of ways if we don't care what other people think then would we strive to make our parents/family proud or recognize how we impact others with our actions and words? In this sense it was meant more of, I am not used to talking about these ideas, and wanted to hear what people think about me for sharing. I'm sure that some insecurity comes along with that, but hey, we are all human and struggle with lower emotions. Kerli talks about many different things without holding back, and I admire her message. I also stand for love, integrity, and unity.
Tonight I have felt really loving and open. Listening to Ben Harper and looking up craft ideas for work. Got all my vege/herb seeds started indoors, garden tilled, and looking forward to Spring. Craving my garden and the tranquility that I get from being in it.....
I think you all are beautiful people here. Thank you for your kind comments.

Re: Clare's Blog
Hey everyone!!! I want to share my story of going to see Kerli in Austin, TX...Yes, it has been a little over a week now since. It has taken me that long to process it all mentally, and I am honestly still excited:) First, my sister-in-law and I magically get the day off work and babysitters. Austin here we come!! Mad rush to get everything done in time.....Skirt made (first with hot glue, then decided to go over with needle and tread!) I spend alot of time when I should have been doing school work on my outfit! So much fun though, and grateful to Kerli for giving me a reason to do the fun stuff like this!! So. We drive 8 hours, for the last three hours holding our pee and sitting in traffic! Then, we get there...with .5 minutes to get ready and get there....I put on makeup in .2 minutes (in the car) and go to put the skirt on..UH-UH. Not happenin. That beatiful lace made the elastic not elasicy!!!! Needless to say, I got it on violently. .2 seconds left, find the place, Kerli is due to be on stage any minute!! Mile long line....it's ok, I think, we are on Kerli's list to cut in the line....asked at EVERY door, I even have the chicks name with the list....NO ONE knows her....Then I hear Kerli get on stage!! I am outside!! Frantic!! I didn't give up and went AGAIN to the man at the door and very nicely please and please and I have to see Kerli please!!! Finally, success!! He let me in, and I ran to tell my sis "COME ON!!!" For the week before this trip, I was wondering how I was going to react seeing Kerli in person....Well, she started her show with a comment about the situation in Japan, life being fleeting, and love sharing and receiving being the most important thing....This did it, BALLING!!!!! I CRIED, and her song "You cry, I cry" cried even more!~ Tears of enjoyment and pure joy in the moment. I loved ALL her new songs...bounced around in complete childlike glory! Then, my sister in law points out, "Look! Over there! There are the moonchildren!" OMG, Ok, that's where we need to be! There is a fence between us...."How do we get back there????" I asked a worker. He replies, "Ummmm, you walk that way and walk around...." It was wonderful, everything, I wanted to moments to last forever....K, I really want to finish this story, and when I met her, but need a min. to be continued.
Lots of Love and Light,
Clare
