this is actually smth i wanted to post ages ago because this one night i was watching videos of plastic surgeries and how they can go wrong..
its sad in most cases, but SOMETIMES it is to fix something that gives u a lot of grief.. so it think its okay if you're doing it for your own happiness or to fix smth that prevents you from having a happy life.. but not like
'oh i fancy a boob job' and then have like 7 boob jobs until they explode in an airplane.

I think it's ok to do it when you have a BIG scar on your face so that everyone notices your scar first, not you.
But other than that I prefer God's creation Smile

I will say I think plastic surgery is ok. If you hate a part of yourself so bad, then it's okay. But if you just want to change the whole you, like getting bigger breast, to get a model job is just .... weird.
People can do it if it makes them happy, but many of them don't think of the consequences.
But I like how people looks naturally and not fild with plastic (bwaahh) :]

Well.. I'm not against plastic surgery, if it's for something small and not something you're going to make a habit out of. And as long as the person is educated about the fact that it's surgery and they're getting cut apart and it's not something minor.
I do think it's wrong for teenagers to get, since you're too young and still learning about yourself then. (like 16 year olds getting boob jobs on tv??!!). I do think it's wrong to get for someone else's benefit. I think it's wrong to get multiple plastic surgeries and not even look human anymore. No

hmph I read about it in a teen mag,

a girl was getting a boob job for her prom night and died on the operating table.

I understand small surgeries but the major ones like reconstruction of the face is wrong. People are turning into barbies, "perfect" but awfully fake.

Agreeing with Liisu, Ene has a perfect nose!

I use to hate mine too, but I'm growing into my features and quite a few people say that I look like a young kerli because of the similarity in the structure x3 now it isn't at all that bad.

I think people should be happy with the looks and body that god gave you. I think girls are gone totally crazy to make themselfs look like a barbie dolls. I mean ya it's ur money,ur body so do what u want.Just has long has u don't over do it. I've seen before and afther pictures and i must say most people looked better before they got work done.

I think if people get to get to cover scars/burns then that's fine.

I have a friend since we were basically born who is covered in a lot of scars, a deep one on her thigh (She had meningococcal, and yes she did lose a few fingers too) I can understand that she would want surgery to get rid of them.

I think it's not possible to say Yes or No...It depends on the situation the person is in. As so many said before, I can totally understand if it's to cover scars or something like this...

I have to admit that I reeaallly want some plastic surgery's when I was younger. I wasn't happy with me overall...nothing was good enough. Well, maybe I had to say that I had some "conections" with anorexia. But now I can proudly say: I'm over it. Sometimes there are some moments where I "fall back" in those thoughts... but mostly I think: If the person don't want me like I'm, than he/she doesn't deserves me.

Okay long long text...hope someone understand what I wanted to say ^^

I thought of this way too often....but the word is "thought". I never would have done something like this...

And now I wouldn't want it anymore.

Technically I've had plastic surgery but it was to remove moles that were atypical and could lead to cancer. But I hate surgery, it makes me really nauseous feeling for days and I'm allergic to certain pain killers so I don't think I'll ever have a unnecessary one

People have the right to be whoever they want to be and look however they want to look. But it's not something I think all people should resort to. I've had my nose broken twice so I've developed a lovely large bump on the bridge that I've been teased for since 5th grade. I use to want surgery to correct it...but lately, I've been pretty okay with it. It makes me me :] But if someone does it for themselves and to make them feel better and have higher self esteem, I say go for it. If it makes you happy...

But I've already been through enough surgery Razz I don't need any more scars to show off.

As some people said above it's okey to do a plastic surgery if it's about to get rid off like a scar or something like that.
But i would never change a part of my body in plastic-surgery-way.
First cuz i'm freakin out only by thinkin' it could go wrong
And second because everyone's unique =] i don't want to change myself.

I just hate when people think they will look better with implants of any kind or something. I think that if you need something done for medical reasons, go ahead, but if you just want to reverse the signs of aging or want bigger boobs or something than it's absolutely not necessary. It seems like people always forget that there's huge medical risks that come with any surgery.
