Hihihi deadserious how to make a necklace!!

This is more of an inspiration than 'a how to make' 8D
Background:
Me and my friend were in Stockholm. You know Björn Borg, the tennis player from Sweden? He has a store called "Björn Borg" (surpriiiise) where they sell bags, shoes, underwear and such. When we passed a Björn Borg window, the mannequins (hope that's the right word ;d) had these beautiful tape-necklaces in neoncolours.
Me: "Aaaah, I wanna have one of those!"
My friend: "Yeah, they look awesome! But, why not make one yourself?"
Hahaha I felt really stupid but I took her words seriously and made one! Now I've gotten more comments like "I am a moonchild, what's a moonchild?" than "What are those dots you're wearing under your eye?"


First step: : D
Find a tape without text (my recommendation ;] ) and a pen.

Second step:
Write something on the tape : D
For example, on one side I wrote "I AM A MOONCHILD"


and on the other one, I wrote lyrics to "Walking On Air".


Third step:
Nooow you need to find a chain or a band! I found a long, black chain that looked like this when I found it! Almost! Hehe


Fourth step:
Drag the chain or band through one (or both) of the holes in the tape like thiiiiis : D


Fifth step:
Now... My instructions has gotten to an "explain for low IQ's"-level : D You need to close the chain or make a knot on the band. This is how the closed chain should look like:


Sixth step:
No, wait, we're done : DDD Hihihihi so basically yeeees this subject needed no "how to make"-steps but this is how my necklace turned out to be! : D Merci very much for your time :''')

That's so creative! I really like that idea, it's different and it's something I could make (No jewellery making skills whatsoever xD)

This is a great idea!! Also you could do it in variations...like spray paint the tape and decorate it with bows, jewels, glitter etc!!

That's cool..kind of gives my a idea to do something of my own..I do have some blank tapes....

I neeeeed to find a craft shop near my uni digs so I can jazz mine up. I do have some stuff at home I could use though... I definitely have plenty of glitter left from when I made my Kerli cards xD

i had a idea for a keychain/bookmark...Mybe use some cardbord....some duck tape...you could add stickers, stars, moon marks..gillter..ECT. you hang it on the xmas tree for chrismas..

The fourth image itself, the one where the necklace is strung through the cassette, is really artsy
