A list of bubble goth movies?

Hey moonchildren just curious what do you consider a bubble goth/ moonchildren movie? Whether it be the I.L.U message or the fashion sense is bubble goth. What do you watch to get yourself in that mood.

Im not sure, but I can say that Tim Burton's movies are bubblegoth.

Even though I said movies I would say the anime Fruits Basket could fit the I.L.U. theme.

Anime - Elfen Lied - it's both creepy and cute :3

oh yeah...sucker punch..i think i was the only one from my family and friends who liked this movie... hahaha how about "coraline" ? that animation gave me the chills.. -.-

I think Mirror Mirror is bubblegoth as well! I saw it yesterday and i loved it!

It's kinda hard to think of movies like this because, well most of the stuff out there is either bubbly or goth.

Deadman Wonderland (anime) sure could be bubblegoth, well totally gore bloody bubblegoth but to me that is even better XD

Definitely Coraline! It reminded me of Walking on Air and had that disturbing fairytale feel.

For anime, I think maybe XXX holic is a little bubblegoth. It has amazing art/animation and the cuteness of anime with a creepy plotline.

For anime I say The Wallflower.

How about Sailor Moon.. i used to be a huge fan and recently i re-watced it all over again.. i know it's not that dark (except from some episodes) but the whole message is pretty bubblegoth don't you think?
I would also recommend Underworld, especially 3 which is kinda old...i love the feelng of this movie! Queen of the Damned was also kinda dark-goth etc, and had an amazing OST...Plus Aliyah as Queen of the damned was so fucking hot! ooohhh i'm in the mood now, i keep thinking movies!

Most of these seem either bubble or goth. To be a combination of both, what is required of the movie or the show?

I feel like I need to find a move or an anime that reminds me of AOL the white and the light and the love.

For bubble goth how about Factory Girl?

Oh how about Ultra Violet, it's not the best but it's so well done visually cold harsh elements beautifully done but a killer/spy/ rebel with a heart?

Since I must follow my own advice. I picked Sucker Punch for the aesthetics and message. There truly is beauty in chaos and light in the darkness reflected all around this movie that not only exist in the story line but the fashion as well.

For Fruits Basket there's an overall dark plot and the main character is a Bubble at heart but even she gets down. However, she lives by the I.L.U. message. Later on she becomes friends with someone on the goth side with the same goal. So I like to think of them as two sides of the same bubblegoth coin.

The Wallflower is a girl who feels more at home with dark things but she still has her cute side. She names all her skeletons and is really cute and sweet with them but. The whole plot is trying to get her to be beautiful but you can tell the darkness will never leave. I think bubblegoth is especially apparent during the Halloween episode which is like Christmas to her.

Would Amelie seem bubble goth to you? Also still looking for a movie or anime that reminds me of AOL.

I loved this Cartoon for being so adorable and dark.

I love Paradise Kiss and Factory Girl. I think they could be BubbleGoth. Factory Girl definitely has both girly and dark elements.
