Bubble Goth Shoe's

Well okay, so i just finished one shoe! Or i dont know, i might add something more, like moonmarks!
But yeah, what do you think?

Okay, so i just thought i'd tell you how i did them, I used 3pair of thick flipflops, and i made them the same size as my converse. To make the flipflop stick to the shoe, i used screw's ( is that the word for it ) haha, you will probably have to use pretty many to make them look good when you walk in the shoes. Then to make the sole one colour, i used white ''electical tape'' and you will probably wanna use pretty much so that you really cover up everything, i also used the tape on the front of my shoes, on the white toe. Then you can decorate them with anything you want! oh and also, since you will have screw's on the inside of the shoe, you might wanna use an extra insole(?)

I like it, moonmarks would be the perfect finishing touch. What did you use to make the actual platform part?

Did you paint the flipflop sandals yourself or were you using the colors they came in?

Haha I was going to do the exact same thing! I agree it is better and more fun way of doing things. It looks easier too!

I wrote in the first post how i made them if u guys wanna try my way, but i guess you can use the idea in different ways! Now im going to decorate the other shoe!

About how high are they? And how many flipflops did you use?

Just so I can get some kind of idea how many I should get according to my heigh (I'm pretty tall so I can't make them too high or I'll hit every doorframe I'll come across).

JazzyTrazz: They are about 6,5 cm. Im pretty tall too, im 176, so when i wear them i am like 182 cm. I used 3 pair of flip flops, but it was flip flops for guys, so it had like.. umm a thicker sole! I bought mine on HM.

How much did one pair of the flip flops cost? Say it in SEK, everything costs about 10-50 NOK more than swedish price, if you understand

haha i mought mine for 60:- ( SEK ) but you can probably find cheaper, though, i would recomend flip flops for men, those i bought were thicker and harder than normal girl-flip flops

Oh, okay =) That'll probably be about 100 NOK. Everything is expensive here

I did see a closeup picture of Kerli's shoes and I think this might be how she made hers to!

My flipflops are bigger then the shoes I have. What do you guys think would be the best method to cutting them to size?

maybe trace your shoe onto the bottom of your flip flop and cut along the line? That's what I would I do!

Tracing and cutting worked really well. Funny enough I think I need more bubblegoth height in my shoe so I will need a forth flipflop.

Trevligt med svenskar haha men nej, de gjorde dem inte, använde ganska korta, och skrivade både inifrån skon, och från udersidan
