I just saw this on her facebook: "Last night at Switches place, mixing the last record!! Mastering tomorrow morning..it's ALL done!!!! I.L.U.".

I wonder if its really the last time and she's not going to make another status like in a few days saying she's with someone else making more songs xD. No more songs Kerli just get the album done and released already!! Razz

Kerli really needs to tour/perform. it used to be you toured to sell a cd and nowadays you release a cd to sell a tour. I don't see kerli's cd be a huge success but I think if she toured she would do fairly well

Hopefully she'll get loads of promotion once the first single drops, I think there hasn't been much due to only releasing buzz singles. If her label isn't willing to promote her then how is she going to do well like they expect her to. I hope they don't mess this album up like they did with Love is Dead, especially after pushing it back a few times and Kerli working on more tracks for it.

Yay! It's finally happening! ^^. At first I thought that the date on there was the actual release date but then realised it wasn't xD. I hate it when the month is put first, so used to it being day/month/year lol.

I agree with you. It seems like her label expects her to promote herself.I hope her label steps up too and promotes this new album.That's there job.

She's been singing lots of new songs at shows, more than enough to release them as an album, but yet, there isn't a new album. I think she keeps changing her mind about which songs she wants on the second album. It's as if, every time she writes a new song, it becomes her favourite, and she ditches the other new songs.
I understand that writing a new song makes her feel like she can do better still, and it's good that she wants to improve constantly, but make up your mind every now and then, and release an album.
Not all artists and bands are entirely happy when they look back on albums, you can't make it perfect. Maybe she's a perfectionist?
She could have made 3 or 4 albums already. I know most people blame her label, but I don't see why they wouldn't release another album. After all, a new album would mean more profit for them too.

The album is finished now. At the moment someone said on here that Kerli is deciding between two songs to be the first single. I think she pretty much is a perfectionist when it comes to her music. Sometimes she has said that her label has asked her to go back into the studio for the album, so I don't think its always Kerli who changes it.

I completely disagree that it's Kerli that is delaying. She played a bunch of new songs at Ollesummer too but they were never released. Those songs fit the LiD era sound though which wasnt a huge seller for IDJ so they probably told her they werent gonna release it. And an album doesn't guarantee a profit it costs to put out a cd. You have to pay to produce, package, ship, promote, etc. a label isn't going to go through all that work and only sell 10,000 copies. They lose nothing waiting until she has something they feel will make them more money.

]I agree too.It's Kerli's Label that's pushing her album back.It's her label that asks her too keep re-wrighting and making songs intill her label finds ones they like.The Label is holding Kerli back. Kerli could have had like 5 Albums out by now if her label didn't keep pushing it back.The label wants KErli to sound like the other popular music today.They seem to be pushing this sound on her.The only say she seems to have is the style of clothings she likes.She seems to have the power over her videos tho.

Mind you!That's just how i see it.

I think Miss Kerli needs to dump IDJ and find a new label. She has ample reason to do so because they HAVEN'T promoted her as opposed to the rap/hip hop acts that are IDJs traditional swill.

She has a contract with IDJ. She can't just "dump" them, it's not like that. And Island has been really supportive, together Kerli & Island are trying to find the best route to release this album for maximum exposure. The full album has been mastered, and should be delivered this summer (estimated). If a dance anthem album had been released in the Winter it would have flopped.

they've said themselves that they're working with kerli. the songs are nearly complete. the packaging, designing, photoshoots for the cover, promoting, and radio play will take quite a long time. the album could be completely finished now and they're just packaging.

so good that you wrote it.... and I think that this is the best that she works for IDJ because is one of the bigest label on the world and they know how to promote her... and also there is many artists and they must to have for everyone, no only for one...
