*turns to everyone* And that's exactly why my parents don't know I'm on Facebook. My father doesn't care an my mom would freak out. Parents like that shouldn't be allowed to be friends with their children on there... Like it's not allowed to teach your own children as a teacher in school. At least that's like this where I'm from. So stand up, sign a petition, WE CAN DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT!

If i was your age now and had FB.my parents wouldn't allow me to add stranger's.I know for sure.& i picture my self being pissed with them.lol

Same with me. I had done something similar like this when I was younger and they took my internet for 2 month xD
Then I met someone from the internet behind their back and they took my internet and computer for a half year xD

I think I understand them now, they just worry about you...but it was really a terrible time xD

OMG OMG OMG! SAME WITH ME!! They made me disable my fb account but then I made another one. But my parents didn't know I made another FB account. And used internet from my mobile!
UNTIL some idiot friend of mine saw my pics from Finland and told his mom 'MOM, Gökçe (that's meh for those who don't know) is back! She put pics on Facebook!'
And guess what his mom did? Called my mom and said 'OOH SO YOU'RE BACK. We SAW Gökçe's pics on Facebook!'
I still don't have internet and still I'm using my mobile phone. But they promised they'll give me my internet back when schools open. I will never add parents on FB again. Ever. The end.

^ I've never had an issue with parents but older sister is so nosy, she'll ask me who people are how I know them and comment on pictures of me. And I really don't understand why some of my relatives have facebook and want to add me. I've been ignoring my one aunt's friend request because I don't talk to her in real life so why should I add her on facebook?

I had a stalker on Facebook as well. I blocked her but she could still see all the things I did (!!).
That's why my username is 'Pupu gets scared coz of stalker girls'
I kinda understand them too, but the people here are so nice, they are worth trusting them at least
a bit, I'd say.

I probably won't... My dad barely ever gets on Facebook, and my mom does but she has like 150 friends so she probably won't scroll through and see my notifications. plus Idc when I added Eetu she didn't really say anything. Shr gave me a little grief but not horrible.

^can't you delete your notifications so they don't show up in the news feed or on your profile

or maybe could you hid your friends list so only you can see who's on your list? or does your mom go on your account?
