GHOST
On a cool winter day my heart has been lead astray
On a cool winter day I awaited the silence of peace
Jump overboard and run away
We are all doomed to the destiny we've denied
Our addictions hold us still
I try to fill my cup with wine,
And watch it fall through.
On a cool winter day i realized what i had to do
All the secrets rush to the door,
Waiting for their exposure
I thought keeping them would give us closure
The sky is gray and the snow dances
In escapades of light
Luminescent white
Just like our purity,
As demons from inside whisk them away
Out on a cool winter day
I took myself back,
Just to take my life again
