This is Helena

Hi ho guys, I'm Helena (stress on the first syllable) from Estonia, 18 years old.

I'm not exactly the biggest of Kerli fans, but I do like her and find some of her music pretty inspiring. I joined this forum out of curiosity and because it seemed to have quite a creative atmosphere.

I lived in Estonia my whole life, 18 and a half years. When it comes to that country I have to agree with Kerli - it's most certainly not the place for people who dream big. I come from a wonderful artistic non-Estonian-like family, thus I always knew I didn't belong in that society. Two months ago when I had just started my final year in high school (in a fancy elite school that I hated to the core), I decided to take a 180 degree turn and get the hell out of there. People said I was making a big mistake.

But well, here I am in the Highlands of Scotland, going to 6th year in a local high school, and I've never been happier or more content. The way how instantly I was welcomed and accepted blew me away. It still does, every single day. Being here has completely unleashed the happy, loving, ambitious, motivated personality I always knew I had.

I will become an actress, although I could also live with the idea of being either a writer/poet or a musician.

When it comes to people I really appreciate simplicity, creativity, inner beauty, modesty, depth and ambition. I worship animals and nature. I love theatre, literature, music, and my biggest inspiration is my mother.

I am very proud of everyone who has a courage to see the world and educate theirselves abroad. but I sure hope you return to Estonia one day

Oo, haven't been online for a while. Nice to meet you too!

Mum's my biggest inspiration because she is literally the best person and the best actress I know (guess I'm kind of biased but oh well). She's super intelligent and kind and funny and emotional, and no one can love bigger or better than her.

My favourite literary era, that's actually a really good question. I'm gonna have to say Romanticism, cause everything was just beautiful during that period - the music, the art, the literature.. I love "Jane Eyre" and stuff like that.
