One of my friends has been feeling really down lately. Every time we talk, he says how heartbroken he is because of everything in his life.
Today I heard him telling another friend how he has wasted all this time and energy going after someone he couldn't have. And how horribly he's been played. My other friend looked at him and said..."you haven't wasted any energy. Energy can't be wasted...it can't die or be born..it just floats naturally from one state to another."
I still can't get that out of my head. And now.--like 2 hours later I find myself sitting on the couch absolutely insomniac.

Everything in life happens for a reason. Sometimes things appear horrible but without these "horrible" things, something really amazing is unable to come to your life. We need to loose and let things die to make room for NEW. The wheel needs to turn. On and on and without stopping.

I don't think we are really able to be compassionate unless we ourselves have been lower than low. I don't think we can really appreciate before everything has been taken away from us.

So like the waves that move up and down, like the sun that rises and sets, like the earth always making full circles around the sun...
this all appears to our lives too. It can't be always sunny, the plants would die..life would die...

so I think we should try harder to embrace the change, the growing pain sometimes... and just see things as lessons...something that we needed to learn..like in school... thats why we r here on this earth...to learn...to be a wiser soul.
