My Kerli Cards
All right, I'm giving in! I'm mainly concerned about the Unity card, - it just seems bland to me - but I think I'm fine for now. Just a little bit longer until the competition closes, so I thought I'd get my submissions sent in... Even if they aren't totally finished!! My computer broke earlier this month, so I've been on my mom's computer checking here. I just haven't had access to Photoshop. My computer's back up-and-running now, so I thought I'd give it a shot in the three days I had left! Definitely not my best work, but that's just because of the time constraint (not anyone's fault).
For my Integrity card, I wanted something that symbolized the word. For all of my cards, I think that applied. I started off with another image, but I think this suited the word more. It's kind of a thoughtful, humble picture. At least, that's what I understand when I look at it. Opinions will be different. I couldn't choose between the original, black-and-white card and the color, so I posted both. They are not separate entries! I drew the butterfly border; it just seemed appropriate with this one for some reason.

For the Love card, I wanted a sadder picture. Symbolism, again. I wanted it to symbolize a relationship and the mindset(s) involved. In the way I made the card, I see her to be contemplating the outcome of a relationship in this picture. Again, opinions. The original picture was black-and-white, but I posted a sepia version, as well (NOT a separate entry). I drew the heart sign border, too.

Unity. I immediately knew I wanted a picture from her Nymph photoshoot. In this picture, she's staring into herself, becoming one with her inner being. Yes, I drew the Chinese unity characters. I found them online, and I know she has a Chinese "music" tattoo. The idea just stuck.

A lot went into these, and - again - there wasn't much time for me to work on them because of my computer. I'm just grateful to have gotten what I did, done. I've never worked on cards before, but I hope to do something like this again!! And, congrats to the winner
