split second [ 2013, earned me a 4+ (A+)]

what's wrong?
i walk.
i trip,
i fall.
there are moments in life where i stall
i can't breath,
i can't see,
the stars are too bright,
what do i do?
spill color into the dark.
a million rays of light collide
and i realize,
this is life.
human fault,
nature's calls
solid walls,
all in a split second.
all in one day,
one moment,
it could end.
Just slip away without a trace
The faint realization of what could have been
But you fake it?
When you should be lucky to have this gift?
When someone deserves it more than you?
And you take it for granted?
Yes you.
your life is in our hands,
and if we fail,
YOU fail.
So grow up.
Learn to face your mistakes,
Don’t run away,
Don’t hide.
It’s all your fault,
In your mind.

So just remember,
That in a moment,
This could all just slip right out of your hand,
And someday,
This could all just end.
