BOOKLET

All the cards will need to have a written meaning. I will make all of them into a little booklet that will be added in with the cards. So whenever Kerli draws a card, she can read what the card is supposed to mean.

The word limit of the meaning is 80 words.

Each card will also have an affirmation which is a short sentence that sums up the card. For example if the card is "Voice", the affirmation could be "I trust my inner voice", "I follow my instincts" etc. It's all up to you but it should start with "I".

EXAMPLE:

- Positivity -

When you are positive, you keep directing a stream of high-vibration energy with your thoughts, words and actions. This affects others and they help you towards your purpose. The angels are aware of the power your positivity and they too will support your intentions. You choose your thoughts and attitudes, so focus on loving, abundant and successful outcomes in every area of your life. Your positivity will make you feel happy, healthy and fulfilled.

Affirmation - I am positive and strong.

EXAMPLE #2:

- Synchronicity -

There is no such thing as chance in our incredible Universe. The coincidences and synchronicities are carefully orchestrated by your guides and angels - so recognize them as the hand of spirit. Rejoice when you notice them for they are the angels' message to you that you are on the right path. Start to expect them and look for them. Be aware that there is a divine reason behind them and consider what the message or lesson is. Synchronicity is also a reminder to you that all things happen in divine timing.

Affirmation - All things happen in perfect timing.

I was wondering if we should include signature? I mean, if we should write on the card who desinged it?

^ I was thinking about that too and I'm not sure - what do you think? If I do it then it would be the same on all cards which would make them seem more like they're from the "same pack" if you know what I mean but I am happy for all of you to write the word yourself.

I do have the Utopia cover font though so it would look really nice if we used that for all the cards?

I personally like the idea of it being from the same "pack." It totaly reminds me of my oracle cards, but that's just me.

So we're just making the "picture" for the card and decide which text we want?

ive just had a thought about it and the backs of the cards will be the same anyway so i think it would be okay if everyone wrote the name of the card themselves. just because some people might want to incorporate the word in their artwork so it might ruin their idea.

I'm pretty sure the description is going in the booklet, not on the card. Just the word needs to be on the card...right? XD

I don't know, that's why I ask. I have never seen this kind of cards so the example would be great

I said about 3 posts above that everyone is writing their own word on their card. Just make sure it's visible.

And yes! The affirmation goes into the booklet.

I'm going to start drawing and when it's done I will scan it and I really suck at computer work so I will ask someone to help me redimension my image ...:p

you know i am just now trying to find out what kind of resolution the printers actually want so that the images wouldn't come out blurry etc but their website is just not giving me the answer!

Okay sorry guys that i didn't find this out earlier but the minimum resolution for the cards (so that they don't come out blurry) is 897 x 1497 px!

i will send out a group email now too so that everybody would get the message.

When I set the resolution to that, the card size doesn't match what it's supposed to be and ends up being only 19mm x 32mm. I'm not really sure how to get it to match with being 62mm x 113mm...

Sorry for not sending it yet. I am so busy with my college, I will send it to you in a couple of days. I am gonna give my best to finish it asap. <3

Those would be the dimensions; is your resolution something like 75dpi? I put mine to 300. Might be too much, but at least it can be scaled down; scaling up is much harder!

My resolution is at 300 dpi. Which part do I need to change? Sorry, I'm so bad at this digital stuff >_<

Dunno really, these things are often mysterious xD Like, my picture is 300dpi, 897 x 1497 px and 75,95mm x 126,75mm, so it's slightly larger and I'm not sure if I should keep it like that or change it to 62mm x 113mm :/

But other than that, I'm done! I even wrote a pretty good explanation. At least, I hope so :DD
