Thanks for coming
For being born
For growing up strong
Into the man you became
The person I know so well
As Grandpa

Thanks for the laughs
Also happy tears
Maybe some sad ones
For the way you seemed to make
The sun just that much brighter
With your smile

Thanks for living
And bringing into this world
My mama which she then brought
Me and my siblings
Better known as
Your grand-children

Thanks for being happy
Almost all the time
Thanks for being in my family
Loving us all
Thanks for being good
And a faithful man
Thanks for all this and more

We'll meet again
Goodbye
Thanks for coming.
