Bad news

I just got the news today as I was getting ready to go to college that my mom has colon cancer. Don't know what the doctors are going to do yet but it is a hard situation. I am states away from my family. I have a sister with autism and a father who depends on my mother since he has a tramatic brain injury from fighting over in iraq along with other medical problems and is sick himself. I don't want to lose neither of my parents. It is my second quarter of college I really just want to graduate and become a nurse and make my parents proud. Life is a battle everyday....

oh my god..tough situation..i got a friend who was diagnosed with cancer a few days ago and he already started chemo..he is just 15 years old...fortunately the doctors told him he's gonna be cured...so my prayers are going for all all our families and friends, to get well soon, and win this thing...my thoughts are with your family sweetie... love you <3

Thankyou both I really needed some love, light and hope. I researched on colon cancer and since my mom is only stage one I am hoping that she will only have to have a surgery. I will continue to think positive Very Happy

I'm sorry about your situation. Stage one is the easiest to treat, so I'm sure that she will be okay. Sending thoughts of love your way. Keep your head up!
